Comment:
This professor started off explaining the simple stuff well, as soon as we got to chapter 3 he fell off and couldn't hold it together. Can barely finish his point because his english is very poor. Very hard to understand, impossible to figure out what grade you have and if you think you know the material, you don't in his eyes.

Great Professor. If you go to every class and pay attention you will get at least a B. All assignments and exams were based on the lectures. I didn't even buy the text book. If you don't go to class you will probably fail. Very clear lectures and he is always around to help as long as he sees that you pay attention in class.

Comment:
Professor Kim's class was awful to take. Wouldn't recommend. Me and my buddy called him Confucius because he is 85, quiet, and hard to understand. The class was broken down as follows: 10% homework (3 13pagers), 40% midterms (2), and 50% final. These were almost impossible to pass, even after near all nighters to study. The final hurts your grade.

Prof Kim was a very good professor, he made things clear and was funny. He is wonderful to meet with during office hours. If you don't go to class you will probably fail. If you go to class impossible to get anything less than a B. Midterms were easy, Final was harder. All based on 3 homework assignments. Overall definitely recommend for Micro.

Loved this teacher. If you pay attention in class and follow the powerpoint, you can actually learn a lot. homework and midterms are a piece of cake if you take time to understand the material.

terrible teacher, probably the worst teacher I had through my freeman year. can be funny sometimes if you understand what he is trying to say, cant speak english at all. midterms are hard and out of like 300 points, don't take it, if you have it change it, if you can't change it then drop it

Slightly hard to understand at times, uses "Pizza" for every single example. You don't have to attend the class, and all of the test content is based on his homework assignments, which are due the day of the test. He gives you lecture notes at the beginning of the semester, and everyone is on facebook during the whole class. Easy class, good prof.

He teaches at a pace that is very easy to learn at. All classes are straight lectures; can get boring, but he uses real life examples and can even be funny at times in his own way. He is very knowledgeable and a pretty nice guy. Midterm and final questions are straight from the homework assignments, which are very minimal.

Not a good teacher. Even though he knows lots of things, it doesn't mean he is good at teaching. He is too lazy to grade exam and gives it to TA. Terrible.

He speaks incredibly broken Engrish. Just because a person can obtain a PhD in something does not by any means qualify them to teach. His power point slides are usually confusing, his words are confusing, his review questions are confusing, and there's no way of knowing whether or not you actually know or understand the material. AVOID!

Not a good professor. Didn't learn anything in the lectures. Be prepared to study a lot by yourself. Still, exams are not very difficult since all exam questions come from the 4 homework assignments.

His lectures are extremely boring and he teaches straight out of the book lectures. He uploads the powerpoints and homework assignments so you only need to come to class to hand in the 4 big homework assignments and for the 2 midterm exams and the final.

Probably one of the worst professors I've ever had. Spent most of the time trying to figure out what the hell he was saying. Homework is useless and doesn't teach you anything. Tests are hard and most questions are worth a ridiculous amount for only 2 sentences. Not showing up is equal to the amount you'll learn by coming...nothing.

Really not an engaging professor. He isn't a bad guy, but he really just was not meant to teach course, he would be much better in a non-teaching role.

Comment:
Amusing accent; disgustingly awful professor. Teaches straight from textbook-supplied lectures (even though he usually says they're "wrong"). Exams are impossible, regardless of how well you know the material. Nitpicks every minor detail and doesn't give you enough time to finish all the questions, let alone explain them in the detail he wants.
