Probably the best English teacher I have had and by far my favorite college teacher ever. She was very caring and helpful and made the class very fun. I learned so much in that class that I still use on every paper. Getting through college would have been a lot more difficult without her class.

Wonderful, insightful professor. She has a unique way of teaching that better relates to her students. Is extremely helpful and wants you to succeed. I couldn't have asked for a better English Professor. Sad to see her go, wish her all the luck in the world. Oh and in case she ever decides to read this, namaste, thanks Susannah.

Awesome teacher. She was a great influence on me to keep going on in school. I liked her wardrobe. I liked the fact that she didn't conform and she did her own thing. She also helped students succeed, rather than fail. So sad to see her go, but wish her the best!

Nice lady, shes kinda hippee if u like that kinda stuff. Class was way harder than i expected but oh well this is college. Vocab tests were a little out of hand (imagine 100 word vocab test without knowing in advance what words will be on the test) only B i ever got at AVC, but looking back it helped get me ready and try harder next semester.

as long as you do all of your papers, you will do fine in this class. She's kinda of quirky and spazzy with a very unique wardrobe but she was overall nice and helpful. Just listen to her! She kept me interested and taught well.

Its funny that most of the derogatory remarks about le Baron are filed in the section that doesn't know how to spell Susannah! Perhaps the English level is a bit low here, but anyways, le Baron is an incredible teacher. She clearly defines the grading rubrik and even made the final bluebook optional extra credit. Also, her lectures are hilarious.

Le Baron is an amazing teacher. If you show up to class and actually speak with her, she will help you pass the class. She grades on the college's grading rubrik, which she clarifies in depth at the beginning of class. Everything is totally fair. So, if you fail, you might try English 097 again, which is particularly helpful for grammar or ESL.

she was totally unclear in what she wanted us to study. her essays where hard. i think only 5 or 6 people out of the class passed out of 25. she beats around the bush when you ask her a question about an assignment. she is funny but thats all. i recommend you take someone else.

by far the best and most interesting teacher i have ever had. she taught me so much that i didn't learn anything in my engl 102 class. she did make me work for my grade, but she also give chances to improve your grade on a paper if one really sucks, or if you really just need help. she also totally took me outside my box, and forced me to think. she does not grade you down for disagreeing with her oppinions, but she does make you support your ideas, and shows you if you don't make your point well enough.

Comment:

For an English 101 class, she was very inspiring. Her "hippie" attitude definitely defines her teaching style (very open minded, relaxed). Would definitely recommend her class to get you into the mindset of college writing (more thought and structre than content). Overall very productive, be prepared to adjust on the fly with deadlines.
