Comment:

Dr. McCray is not the easiest of the three professors for this class. In fact I would say that she grades the hardest. If you just ask her for help though she will. Make sure to read and listen and you will be fine. She is always there for drill and always gives good hints about how to study for the tests. Not an easy A, but definitely doable.

Pretty great teacher I think. Really nice and helpful. Open to questions and will fix any grading errors if they come up. Not the easiest teacher ever, but she's clear when she teaches and easy to understand.

I'm graduating this May and Dr. McCray helped me every step of the way. Picking classes, applying for scholarships, and finding the right graduate school. Couldn't have done it without her.

She is the most amazing teacher, and if possible, an even better adviser. She spent many hours (even on the weekends!) helping me. Even though I didn't win :( - she helped me get into a great grad school! 5 stars.

Amazing teacher and amazing asset to the University. This lady is the heart of the Honors College and a very devoted professor. She is pretty much the reason why the U of A competes nationally for post-graduate fellowships. Perhaps one of the most important people at the University.

She is an excellent teacher. Her lectures weren't the best, but you get those with anybody. Her discussions were insightful, her quizzes reasonable, her grades fair if not better. Also, she's a great connection to have: take her class, right now.

Great professor. Without a doubt one of the most inspiring and dedicated professors on this campus. I was in her H2P 1 drill and I'm glad I had the cance to study under her.

McCray not only works hard on her lectures, but she also works as an advisor to get people scholarships. On the deadline for scholarships, she stays up at the office till midnight or later working nonstop to help students do what they want to do. She is easily the most dedicated person on this campus

Very witty and genuinely interested in helping you in any way possible. Extremely intelligent but cares about what students have to say also. Yeah she's busy but she will make time for you. And she did bring food every now and again, she's thoughtful like that. Easiest grader, but toughest quizzes.

McCray is busy. Get over that. She'll put as much effort into you as you put into yourself. If she didn't respond to your first email, write her back. She's incredibly friendly, compassionate and extremely intelligent. It's a travesty she's not Dean of the Honors College. She's easily 1 of the best!

I have a tremendous amount of respect for Dr. McCray. Not only is she dean of the honors college, but she's also an incredibly intelligent yet humble person. Her lectures may not be scintillating, but they're informative, and she's always helpful in drill.

You people are crazy, McCray is a horrible teacher. She is so boring and has major attitude issues. She is one of those teachers who tries too hard to look successful. If you are thinking about taking this class, make sure you don't get her for your drill teacher.

Dr. McCray is my H2P Drill instructor and I have enjoyed it so much. She is an extremely friendly and helpful person. She really understands where a freshman is coming from and tries to help in every way possible. She even taught me MLA format for citing quotes (when she has 300 other things to do).

For H2P, of the 3 drill instructors, McCray is the most work, but probably the easiest grader. She is a normal person and understands the stresses of being a freshman. I really enjoyed her lectures and drill sessions, plus she sometimes brings food to drill. You can't beat that.

She is very nice, and very busy. She stays up at her office until 6:30 or 7:00, and still finds time to prepare great lectures. Her kids must be really messed up because she must never have time for them.

McCray is not helpfull, nice or anything good at all. She is really boring and makes people fall asleep in the middle of class. There is no way I would ever encourage anyone to take her class. In fact, I would tell people not to take H2P just so they don't have to deal with her.
