She gives a lot of essays to do and she only reads the first page, if she doesn't like it then she doesn't read everything. She also leaves things for the last minute, we were close to finals and she was still giving essays to do. I honestly advise any student to take this course with another professor, she is very unorganized.

The first paper wasn't given back in a timely matter before we started the second paper. I could have received a better grade on all of my papers if the website we used worked out for the class better. Sometimes I couldn't figure out what she wanted in the paper. But I least I passed her class so I'm not mad at my grade.

Professor Strickland is a very intelligent woman. She does not know how to structure her class though. I was amazed to see how many random tests she made that were not on the syllabus. There was a 15 source annotated bibliography as well as a Lit Review Draft and Final draft. Try your best to take this class with another professor :) sorry Suzanne

unorganized, she gives you like 4 papers, tells you it should be about 2 pages but you have to write about 7 pages to get an A. She changes due dates, she rambles her personal life.

I learned a lot in this course. We read 3 books and discussed how the authors and their work contribute to social welfare. She gives 2-3 papers based on the reading and gives great feedback. If you do your best she will give you her best.

Unorganized & changes due dates. Hands back papers weeks late. She would read the first part of ur paper and if it's not to her liking, she wouldn't read the rest. How are u supposed to edit, if she doesn't comment on it? 1 quiz, 2 tests (short ans), annotated bibliography(2 drafts) and a 4pg lit review(2 drafts) The Lit Review counts as the final.

The class itself was interesting, but disorganized. Professor didn't hand back assignments in a timely manner, so you're unsure how you're doing the whole semester, and unclear on what she is expecting. Speak to her after class she is willing to help. Can seem a bit rude but take her with a grain of salt. She isn't terrible do all assignments!

Shes is a great professor! Gives quiz's every other week. There is one 15-20 research on peer reviewed journals and use those journals on (lets say for me - Domestic Violence). Get everything in on time and participate in class and you will do well! Shes is nice and organizes her work on power point slides. Got a C+ but satisfied due to the class.

Her lectures are very boring but pretty simple class. Don't really need the textbook and doesn't really follow the syllabus. She posts the PowerPoint online. She shows movies/videos. Randomly decided to give weekly tests but not hard at all. Whole class you have only a few writing assignments.

I did not like her one bit. She made you feel useless and made you feel like you couldn't write a paper. She doesn't tell you what she specifically wants for the papers she wants you to write. You'll end up getting a C- on your papers. She's no help. The books we read in class were pointless. Do not take her.

She was pretty disorganized. As long as you hand in the two big projects she gives you, youll be fine. Tests were kind of hard but if you just listen to her, you'll be fine. Watched a lot of documentaries and she went off course a lot. Easy A if you show up and do some work.

She was really nice when I had to set up my teaching assistant position the only thing was had to constantly email her because she forgot to follow up about it during winter recess. You have to follow up with her if you are serious about being a teachers assistant for a semester.

She is a very intelligent professor, and can be really inspirational. I found her lectures to be fascinating, although she does repeat herself at times. You must be a proficient writer to earn a good grade in her class.. so if you have problems with essays, work on that first. Take her if you want to learn.

Ok so heres the deal, people who got C's on their essays didn't write a good essay. Take the question she gives you, and break it down into around 3-5 separate questions. Now answer it and add an intro and conclusion. Its honestly not that hard. I loved the professor, and the course even though prior to this class i had no interest at all!

I love this professor! She is very intelligent and involved in her field. Your grade is based off of essays, so you must know how to write. If you're struggling, she will help you and point you in the right direction. She discusses what should be in the essay in class. I recommend her.

she definitely wasnt as easy as everyone made it seem on here!!!! she is a nice lady, however your essays HAVE TO BE ON POINT. some times she goes over her time in class and she goes through books like her life depends on it. So be careful. she is NOT an easy A!!!

Easiest A- I ever got. Put in almost zero effort into the class because her lectures are so idiotically off topic that its almost humorous. RANDOM daily conversations about Afganistan, Iran, her daughter and old investments she has. She loves to hear herself speak. So just sit back, browse facebook on your laptop, and get the quick A
