Comment:

Professor Snabb is one of my favorite Professors of all time! I've had him for several statistics classes and I genuinely feel as soon as a semester is finished that I thoroughly understood all of the material taught in his classes. Very clear and concise.

Comment:

Snabb is an example of a picture perfect professor when it comes to a math class. His lectures clearly outline what he expects on tests. Always willing to give extra help when needed (in class or outside.) Homework is optional and there for extra practice. Turn ins are straightforward and helpful for tests. Awesome professor.

This class is phenomenally simple - this is middle school level material. Lectures are boring as hell. I showed up once every 3 weeks and still got an A, never did the book. The computer assignments are somewhat time consuming if you don't know how to use the software, but they are easy in principle.

He's a good guy overall, your grade is based on 3 exams and a final, but overall he makes sure and goes over everything on the exam prior to it. The exams are only a few questions and they're rather simple if you know the material. Great personality (especially for a stats professor) and overall a nice guy.

I hate math, and he made it so easy! I have never once in my life felt like I understanding a math class, even statistics, but his class made me confident. He's a great professor and explains things in an easy way. Great for non-science majors. Attend the lectures and take notes, you'll do great!

Simply the best math professor I have ever had. This guy just makes everything simple in life. Calc is about concept not memorization, that's his theory. I highly recommend him for Calculus II!! I'm taking him for Calculus III next semester hopefully

lecture is extremelyy boring. so bad that most of the time i didnt show up. i ended up with a B+ just do the hw before the exams, and do well on all the labs. we had 3 exams + final. buy the book, i used it to study for every exam

Took as pass/fail to fill math requirement. Not at all a fan of statistics. The class is boring and dry, but it's not as demanding as other math classes. If you're looking for a fairly easy way to fill your math requirement, I suggest intro Stats with Prof. Snabb.

Best math teacher ever! Love him, he is super nice and very clear about all of the concepts. I took this course with another teacher and dropped retook it with Snabb and got a B. Definitely take him, just make sure you do ALL the homework.

Very good at explaining. Tests are just like the homework, nothing tricky. Gives formula sheet, and lots of partial credit. Homework isn't graded. With him Calc II is easier than Calc I

I wish I had taken this professor for every math class I've ever had. He is extremely passionate about his subject. You will get out of this class exactly what you put into it. Do the practice problems and you will be fine. His tests are NOT MEANT TO TRICK YOU! More than a fair grader. I'd take him again in a heartbeat.

Probably the best choice for Calc II but I think people are overestimating how easy he is. The fact is Calc II is hard period. So that doesn't mean you can get an A by not doing the hw. Complete all the problems he gives, study at least a week prior to exams, & you'll have to get an A.
