dr. Engel made humanities so fun for me! I thought I would hate this class, but she is really chill and give you chances to get extra credits. I took her as honors and did not regret the choice. if I had to take another humanities class, it would be with Engel. highly recommend taking her!

Comment:

Professor Engel is an amazing professor. She made the subject interesting, she made you want to learn, study and TRAVEL! Her class is pretty easy to pas, but you will learn quite a bit. She was always available outside of class. She responds super fast to emails. She is the BEST at TCC. Take her, no other humanities professor compares.

Tiffany Engel was amazing!! She was thoughtful and cared more about you keeping up with everything in life than just her class! She made her class easy but also made sure that the students learn! People who show up late or not at all and do not turn in all the assignments still managed to pass! She is amazing and so funny favorite professor at TCC!

Comment:

Forgets to tell you when the online homework is due, that is the main source of your grade as well. No emails on the due dates, no notifications from the website itself. Boring lectures you have to show up to listen to. All of the homework is based off what you read at home, showing up isnt necessary unless it's for a test or attendance. terrible

I would definitely recommend this professor not just because she offers a lot of extra credit or her tests are easy but because she is nice, cares about your success in her class, and delivers interesting and sometimes hilarious lectures. Her lectures derive from study guides along with taking notes from the book. Definitely take her class!!

Mrs. Engel is one of the best professors i have ever had! she is so funny and makes humanities SO interesting. She tells history likeits an action movie and its great! I always looked forward to going to her class. If you show up and just listen to her talk you will get an A on the test. Super fun and interesting class!!

Her class was super easy and she is very nice. I would study the day of the test and the lowest grade I got was a 94%. She provides study guides for all of the tests. She is receptive to criticism and easy to get in touch with. There were a few homework assignments but mostly there were just a few tests. She offers a ton of extra credit.

Tiffany Engel is a gift. She's one of the nicest teachers I've ever had and she truly cares about her students. She makes sure you have everything you need to be successful in her class. If you don't take her at least once while you're at TCC, you're missing out. I absolutely adore her.

Professor Engel is AMAZING! She has the uncanny ability to make some of the most mundane subjects really interesting. She goes into depth on background info in order for you to really understand what life was like during time period being discussed. Super interesting! All you have to do is listen. She basically tells you what will be on the test.

Mrs. Engel was amazing!!! I absolutely adored her. She really cares about her students and will not set you up to fail at all. She is not like many teachers who don't care about students. She is super understanding and funny as well! I 100% recommend. I was so sad when the semester ended because she truly is one of a kind. Easy A if you truly try!!

There are not words to describe how much I love Engel! I hated Hum 1 & I wasn't looking forward to Hum 2, but she's golden! Funny, understanding & kind. She gives note outlines & indicates everything that will be on the tests. The only real homework assignments are art analysis sheets that she often helps you complete. Amazing teacher, slow grader.

This teacher is laid back. It is mandatory that you show up to class but the teacher tends to cancel class a lot this semester. She doesn't use the book instead uses a her own study guide and lectures for the classes content. She doesn't have a set schedule. She does not post your grades on blackboard. It takes her forever to get assignments graded

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed taking this class. I had never taken Humanities before, so I was concerned about whether or not I would like it. She made it interesting & relatable. Would recommend taking her class if you want an enjoyable class with minimal stress & a manageable workload. One of my favorite professors so far!

Prof. Engel is an amazing person. She is very nice and really seems to love what she teaches. She makes learning fun and likes when you take notes. Her tests aren't hard, just study the notes and the guide/outline she gives you. There are small assignments that aren't hard at all. She's passionate about humanities and made the class very fun.

Tiffany Engel is truly amazing. I hated Humn 1 so I wasn't looking forward to Humn 2. Tiffany changed my outlook with how she painted the image of history and art in her lectures. She tells you what is going to be on the tests too. She lets you use older versions of the textbook so it won't cost as much. She even brought us candy. Please take her!

Ms. Engle is such a fun professor. She makes Humanities II quite interesting and tells lots of stories that make the people from the past seem very real and human. She teaches on serious issues in a way that is not overwhelmingly gruesome. Her class is pretty easy and there are opportunities for extra credit. She also responds quickly to emails.

LOVE HER!!! Great teacher. She was super caring and really worked with you to make sure you succeeded. The lectures were interesting and the tests were easy as long as you just listen to her talk. She is one of the nicest professors I have had. She also gives extra credit which helps. Would take her again for sure.
