great guy. he has a great personality and if you click with him, you will do well. some do not. his classes keep you busy taking notes so time flies. his test are difficult if you dont put forth the effort to really study. stay up in the class and you do fine. great professor. much smarter than the students he teaches. that is what you want.

Loved 320 with Ford. Dry sense of humor but that appeals to me. Just tests but mini-projects are available for "extra-credit". 283 was fine... I didn't do well but that was due to my own shortcomings. Ford is willing to go over the math work until EVERYONE understands.

Prof. Ford is a nice guy, and he definately takes the time to make sure each student understands the curriculum. He may have a dry sense if humor, but his class isn't completely boring. I thought his class was a lot better than Paul Weinir's class.

Attend class daily otherwise you will miss important information that will definitely be on the test. The entire study guide is always on the test and nothing else. If you need help understanding anything, you could see the TA. Our TA was very helpful.

Attend class to get notes to help with exam. He has dry humor, but attempts to make class somewhat fun. Ford makes sure everyone understands the logic of definitions and math. Make sure to write down info he tells you to write down. Know def. word4word
