I don't understand how Valencia got voted best community college in the country with teachers like her. I have never had to sit for a more rude condescending and incapable person in my life. If she is your only option wait another semster and see if someone else will be teaching or go to another school.

To the person that commented its either sink or swim in the real world...this isn't the real world. She is supposed to be TEACHING us how to use the program, we are not on the job. I hate her class. Total waste of time and money. Got more help from the people in the lab. If I could give her a lower rating I would.

I have had many teachers here at Valencia and this one is by far the worst of the worst. I...we all got ripped off this semester. If you have no alternative but to take this woman just go to class don't ask any questions and then go to the lab and see April. She should be teaching this class.

She has got to be the worst teacher on the Valencia West campus. Her rudeness is the least of it. If you ask a question she degrades you. Half the time she can't even do what she is trying to show you. If she hates teaching so much she should find something else to do. She is awful. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!

looks like nothing's changed in 6 years. "Constantly performing keyboard and mouse actions without any explanation, then degrades you for asking what just happened. Extremely harsh attitude and on occasion, downright rude to people. Even classmates attempts to help each other is treated as an affront." I wont take her again, such an awful person.

this is the most unpersonable professor ive ever had. we were learning a computer program THAT WAS BUGGY and she was NOT helpful teaching it, because she made us WATCH ONLY HER instead of FOLLOW ALONG like any REAL teacher would have you do. icing on the cake? not knowing how your grade was looking during the semester, ONE EMAIL is not enough. RUDE

I understand why she teaches the way she does. In the real world it's sink or swim. She wants you to be able to swim on your own. Granted, after taking Adv. AutoCAD, she did miss or not fully explain some key points in Intro AutoCAD. She was fair and evenhanded. Do the work, study and don't try to put one over on her or you will definately loose.

RUN!!!!!!!!!!! You'll be better off taking the same class in chinese, and you may learn how to cook in a wok. She is an awful teacher, and my 2 year old daughter is more helpful than Tanya. She is a very nice lady when she is not in the "teacher shoes."
