Comment:

Very boring lectures doesn't know how to teach. She starts new material before testing over the old material. She says she gives out plenty of "extra credit" but you don't get points all it does is replace a missed inclass assignment. Crams so much material into one test. Mandatory 6 page paper and only 3 very hard tests with little to no homework

Comment:

Three tests, first is math problems, 2nd is 50 MC, 3rd is a written case analysis you can prepare for beforehand. You write one case analysis with a group as well. In terms of teaching Dr. Taylor is a very good professor who takes time to make sure everyone understands a concept. Recommend Dr. Taylor and her classes

Comment:

I love Dr. Taylor. She's possibly the nicest professor in the COB. She is willing to help if you don't understand. Her tests are not easy by any means but she gives you a study guide. Read the chapters and have an understanding of the concepts. You write one group case study, have two tests, and a case final. Quizzes each class on individual cases.

One of my favorite professors I've had in college thus far. She truly cares about her students. And her dogs. She is very knowledgeable and keeps things relevant.

She is a really good teacher. You HAVE to go to class to do well in the course. There aren't many assignments. Just tests and a creative ad strategy at the end of the semester. The test questions are straight forward if you understand the material. She is always willing to help if you don't understand. Best marketing teacher at UTC.

Comment:

MKT Problems is different than most classes. It's all about analyzing cases. The first test was only math problems (very easy), the second test was multiple choice (medium), and the final was a case analysis (very easy). Most class periods are spent working on case analysis with Dr. Taylor (participation points). Dr. Taylor is very fun!

Comment:

Great Prof! Uses great examples of ads (video and print) in class and encourages class discussion. Very easy going and funny/goofy. Really likes poodles and relates everything to them. First two tests were easy. In class work is all completion grade. Final was a little tough, but she grades leniently on the 6-page paper. Highly recommend!

Dr. Taylor is an excellent professor, and very willing to help her students...you have to study for her tests though! Just make sure that your butt is in that classroom everytime it meets, and talk to her, she is very personable and likes to know what is going on with you and your life. I have taken 3 classes from her if that tells you anything!
