Attendance not mandatory, everybody says they have the tests but he always changes them each year. Only the first test stay the same, but the other test can help you somewhat study. When you do attend class he makes it enjoyable.

definitely one of the best professors i have ever had at UH! Funny and entertaining definitely way better than my friends POLS prof... this guy really enjoys his job and does an amazing job teaching!

really good prof.is super hilarious. his test are extremely easy with the outline for his class.no textbook. question come directly from outline and in sequencial order as he teaches them.the final is easy. question come straight from previous test. highlight the answers to test in outline and just study those and ur set for the final. i got a b+.

Professor is very organized. He has the exams graded within an hour after the exam. Drops the lowest grade! Do not buy the textbook or flash cards; all you really need is the outline. Exams are strictly from the notes. This class is not a blow off class but it?s not a hard class. The final is all the previous exams put together.

EASY class if your read his outline and power point slides. No need to by book, attendance not mandatory but really helps his lectures are funny and you actually remember his jokes. He drops the lowest grade. Make sure you go to his office to look at exam answers it helps a lot

He is probably hands down the best teacher at u of h. I strogly recommend him. He is hip and funny and lecture are intresting so you wont fall asleep. His test are also super easy if you go to class. I got a 100 on the first test and I did was go to class.

Prof. Wigg's class is interesting.He teaches from his outline and powerpoint slides.His outline is fourty dollars and the slides are online.You will not need the text.The class is interesting because he tells stories to go along with the material.The exams come from the outline and the flash cards($60?) fun class just show up and highlight outline

Professor Wigginton is a wonderful teacher. His lectures are basically off of his outline, but the stories he tells you, really help you understand the lectures. He makes alot of jokes and goes off topic, but he makes lecture interesting. I would recommend him, because he is a good teacher and his tests are pretty easy. =)

He is such a great professor! He really makes the class interesting. Witty personality and relaxed atmosphere. You WILL NOT use the textbook...but the flash cards & study guide are super helpful. You can skip class every now & then but make sure you know the material if you do that (duh). If only he taught history as well! :)

text book was a waste, the study guide and the flash cards were a great buy. he's very smart, funny, and knows his info. always willing to help. attendance isn't mandatory, but you should go to class... if all you did was pay attention, you could at the very least get a B-. how anyone fails his class is beyond me. Take this professor!!

he is a great teacher but kind of full of himself thinks he is some kind of god! but he is really a great professor very nice and kind always willing to help. no need to get book or flashcards just get his outline and you will do fine passed the class with an A also he is easy on the eyes! ;)

Great teach. very clear and straight forward. DO NOT BUY TXTBOOK all you need is notecards/outline. Attendance not mandatory but it is fun and makes taking the 3 tests alot easier he may throw in there lecture material in the test that is not online. Drops 1 grade. Professor Van Wigginton is funny and his class is enjoyable. His lectures are clear. Whatever he says in class is on the exam. Easy to follow. I highly recommend taking him for Poly Sci 1
