Comment:

This professor is one of the best to teach physics yet. Smart guy, knows what he's doing. However, reading the textbook is a necessity. Partial credit for any work, just show it and you can still do good. Show up to class and you'll do fine. Didn't assign final, just had us submit a portfolio of all our graded work. Two tests, midterm and final.

Comment:

Dr. Thomason worked several example problems in class but did not spend much time explaining the material. I had to teach myself. We had a quiz every week, but they were always open book, and Dr. Thomason gave lots of partial credit. I appreciate that he made an effort to learn everyone's name.

He has a very strict attendance policy, but is very lenient should you need to miss class for a good reason. He is a fairly easy grader and gives lots of partial credit. The material is all fairly straight forward.

Comment:

Thomason is an easy professor. For basic engineering science each class was either a quiz or going over homework. There are only two exams that are pretty heavy but they were easy. Homework was easy too. Overall a very chill professor who tries to give the students the best chance at a good grade.

Comment:

Very easy going, and a great guy inside and outside of class. A little hard to catch in the office, but willing to help when you do catch him. There were no tests or quizes, 100% of the grade was based on the assigned projects, which were done outside of class. Class is very relaxed, but effective.
