At first she does not seem like a bad teacher and has a good sense of humor but she does not get along with anyone in my class and lets us out LATE every single day. Do not take this professor for this class. She is a very harsh grader, unclear director, and unfair teacher.

With public speaking skils I was confident, until the first day she said more than half the class would fail out before the semester was over, completely discouraging. I had this teacher last semester (Fall 08). She was close minded and out right rude to students. No debates no original ideas are welcome. If you like to be spoken to like a toddler, sign up. I dropped 4 weeks in, I would expect a college level class to allow discussion and ideas to flow. Not being force fed textbooks like high school.

She was by far the worst teacher I have ever had. She was unproffessional, rude, and mean. I didn't learn anything in her class. She is extremely hard, and unforgiving. How she is still teaching is a mystery to me. Several of us wnet to the dean this semester about these issues. Avoid her at all costs!!!!!

She is easy but there is some hard things about her. Make sure you do the notebook with all your work in it. She grades really hard on the speeches. Anytime you miss just one thing you go down a letter grade, so if you miss two things you already have a C before you even get going. She really doesn't teach anything and just expects you to know it.

I can't believe all these bad comments I'm seeing on this teacher. Look, she's not that bad. She is strict on tardiness and her speech grading is a little harsh, but she is helpful and willing to explain something if you don't understand. As it relates to e-mails, she does respond and I've learned a lot from being in her class.

By far the worst professor I've EVER had. She's not helpful or clear with what she expects from you in a speech. Extremely harsh and unfair. Don't even bother buying the book for the class she doesn't use it, she brings her own book that she preffers to teach from. How she was ever able to obtain a teaching degree is behond me.
