For sure it was an easy piece ...... The presentation is clear given the amount of information put in the course. If you are not disciplined as doll, watch out for the bad grades!

Avoid Professor Zhu. She only cares about her Ph.D students. And her exam is ridiculous, which you cannot finish. Since no one can get high scores from the exam, she can assign any possible scores! Remember she only cares about her own student!

Easily the worst professor I've ever had at stony brook. She cant teach to save her life. Her notes and her hw answers are always incomplete or incorrect. She expects you to memorize each problem she ever gives you and if you don't, she claims "you are not working hard enough". Its her who's a failure at life!

You will learn more from the notes than actually listening in class. Her grading scheme/exams are clumsily constructed. AMS students get harder tests meaning they have to study more. HW is not taken seriously. The class is not difficult but it is easy to make mistakes, especially by memorizing all the heuristics.

She is disorganized, not prepare well. not clarity. Focus on those not important thing and always just praise one student. project is waste of time, you can learn nothing from that. ANOVA is so important for statistics, but she doesnt even mention it. always late for 10 minutes.

Shows up 20 minutes late to the class on an average. May be she knows her material, but from students perspective she is very disorganized and incoherent. If you want to learn something, you are better off reading on your own than getting yourself tortured in the class.

The professor is really bad at presenting the material. For me it was a waste of time, waste of money. Havent learnt a thing in this class. Untill mid term she reviewed the undergraduate material and after mid term she did nothing(project).If one wants to learn something, this class doesnt help, but for ones who want less work then this is for u!

Professor Zhu knows her stuff however, when it comes to teaching she is disorgranized and is all over the place with her lectures. Her exams are based on homework and in class problems. When the midterm and final rolls around, make sure you go over everything. All problems are fair game, reading the textbook is a must.

If you go to class, take down all the notes, do all the hw problems, you should have no problem in this class. 1/3rd the test/quizzes usually ends up being hw problems already done, and problems from practice exams and stuff. Shes not that bad of a teacher and is a pretty good grader.
