I don't know what the bad reviews are about. I liked this teachers' topics a lot. Prof. was fair & gave good feedback. Was not overly hard & I'm not the "best" student. Let me even re-do an essay that I did poorly on! Gave x-credit. Great online class but you need to do assigned work & not be lazy. Would take again. Thank you Prof!!

the absolute worst online prof. ever. She does not teach, and expects to master your essays. First grade came in on the 7th week of the semester, so before that we were clueless about our progress. She grades very critically and tough. I have been using a tutor throughout the semester, and still Bs and Cs are my avarage grades. You will not learn!

Worst online professor I'd ever encountered in my life, and I've taken a lot of online courses! Her instructions were excessively wordy. It was impossible to understand what requirements were. Poorly organized content. I dropped the course out of frustration.

She is not suited to teach an online class. Her lectures are rambling and not well organized. It looks like she just threw up all her thoughts into wordpad and posted them online. Also the amount of work she required was ridiculous for a 3 unit class. I think she is probably a better teacher in class but DO NOT take her online.

Her criticisms were superficial and predictable. The topics she chose made the writing assignments tedious. She made us write a ten page paper on recycling. The topic of immigration was fun, but again, she offered scant advice to improve my writing, which as you can probably tell, needs it.(Yes I ended a sentence with a preposition, so there.)

I would recommend this instructor. This was her first on-line section and it showed in her organization. The one thing that frustrated me was her grading system. She uses plus & minus letter grades. I had no idea what my final grade was going to be until the very end. It was very subjective. She was very liberal in due date extentions.

Absolutely horrible at communicating .She teaches a hybrid online class and she has no clue how to run one. She will fail an assignment if you don't follow the instructions that she neglected to give in the 1st place.Eccentric,and condesending...Please consider that this info is coming from an 'A' student who is used to be treated fairly.

pretty easy, take her class with computers, it makes writting alot easier. She is alittle crazy, but nice and very passionate. She loves to share stories, which are always fun. tough grader when it comes to papers, but I would recommend her.

Take her class with computers, you do most of your essays in class. I really enjoyed her class and didn't do much work and still got a B. She's a little crazy, but entertaining. Would definitely recommend her.

Be prepared to write - a lot. Her grading is subjective, which is frustrating for "A minded" students. She is very much an activist and will push you past your comfort zone. You will learn a lot and your writing will improve. But it might be hard to stay awake in her class.

She is pretty laid back. You do write a lot and she is a tough grader. She tells a lot of family stories and has some pretty interesting discussions.
