She's nice, learned a lot, a bit boring at times. Take it. Exams are easy. Don't buy the book.

There is a lot of material in the course, she does a good job of cutting it down to what's necessary. Fair grader, as long as you put in time to study before an exam there is no reason to get lower than a B

Comment:
Most biased teacher ever. Second, she will automatically give you an attitude if you are not an art or art history MAJOR. Short temper. Makes snide responses to eager student's questions in class, has no manners (I witnessed her literally ripped a test out of a student's hands!) And frankly is too pretentious with her academia. Intelligent woman.

studying for IMPOSSIBLE final now -going to be tested on ~10-15 of the 100+ works we have to MEMORIZE(no joke)..teacher knowledgeable but boring doesnt narrow anything down for you to study..have gotten an A on a test but WAY too much studying necessary ..not impossible though just letting you know this isnt a bad students review just a warning!!!!

She obviously knows a lot about Art History, practically has every artists life story memorized, but i am not convinced she should be a teacher. She is clear and her exams are not hard if you study the slides at all, but she isn't creative in her teaching style. No discussions-the material has way more potential to be cool than how she presents it.

After having taken numerous courses with Professor Roworth, I realize what an incompetant teacher she is. My ex girlfriend said she was an easy grader, but I'd rather have a good teacher. There are a few topics on which she is very knowledgeable, but knowledge does not make a good professor. She rarely allows her students to join smart discussions

She is a very good professor and knows her stuff. She is a very fair grader and wants her students to strive for the best and ofers good criticism. Trys to be as helpful as possible, but this woman just has too much to do to be as effective as she could be.

Tough but fair. Classes are taught at a fast pace. EXTREMELY kind hearted and willing to go the extra mile in a crisis. Also made a wonderful advisor. Very helpful!

She is the WORST!!! She was always late for class, papers flying everywhere totally unorganized. She would take forever to get tests or papers back to us. I cannot believe she is chair fo fine arts. There are much better professors at URI for the job.
