Coons is a good professor who is full of knowledge. His lectures were super fast and hard to keep up with but other than that I enjoyed it. He provided useful PowerPoints and gave you study guides and old exams to look at (these were extremely helpful)

Comment:

Dr. Coons is a great professor and makes this subjecting fun and interesting. He has a very dry sense of humor, which I loved. The work is pretty easy as long as you pay attention and study. He provides study guides and practice exams for lecture. His lab is fun and he works with you. There is also extra credit assignments which is great!

Comment:

I enjoyed Dr. Coons we knows his stuff, very smart, but dont wanna ask questions or he will snap. Dont stand in lines waiting to talk to him, he hates lines. His Unknowns are easy for lab, dont stress over them too much, he gives you a flow chart and tells you if you got your first step right. there are 4 exams total in lecture, print out slides!

Dr Coons is THE teacher to take for Micro. Excellent teacher who takes an interest in his students. Gives example tests, study guides, power points and other additional study materials. Make sure you use the study guide and tests and you can't possibly fail. LOVED THIS CLASS!

Dr. Coons is a great professor and I would definitely recommend him. As long as you read the book and do his study guides, you will do well in the class. It is a lot of reading though and there's a lot you have to remember for the exams, so be ready to study at least a good hour everyday.

Dr. Coons WAS the funniest professor I had my two years at VC. I took microbiology simply because I wanted to know more about it, (It wasn't mandatory for me) and I got exactly what I wanted out of it because of him. He might have "blown up" on people, but it was only the people that truly deserved it for being smarmy and immature.

MR COONS ROCKS!!!He explains things so well by relating it to everyday stuff.Sometimes he can be kinda in a bad mood but he always shakes it off and makes class fun!Well as fun as microbiology can be!!He also love Texas music and like has a side job as a bouncer at Texas Concerts or something:)
