Very knowledgeable and clear in lectures.....just boring as hell. The guy grades very harshly! All his lectures and work are straight from the book. Not very creative in teaching. Does know his stuff though. Wouldn't recommend this guy.

Comment:

Class was challenging. First college class I failed to get an A (out of 6). However, I felt that his grading was fair. I definitely learned something and have an appreciation for a broader range of literary styles. This was his last semester and I got the feeling that he was a little generous with the grades because of this... thankfully.

The worst professor ever. No one ever had any idea of what kind of grade they were going to get. One day he'd be super happy and the next day depressed. When he's depressed he give out a lot of C's and D's. If he doesn't agree with the political slant of your papers, he will definitely mark down.

Damn, this guy is a freak. I took his class, and when writting essays, he wanted me to have the same opinion he had. He would take points off because he tought that those ideas were not right. Damn man, those were my ideas. It was my essay not his.

Holy cow this guy is boring! You will not learn a damn thing. All the work he gives is right from the book, like the questions at the end of the chapter junk. Nothing original or innovative, no lesson plans. Just read the book and a monkey could teach the class. I just feel that if you pay for your education you should get one. Easy class though.

I thought he was a solid and knowledgeable instructor. He was a fair grader. You just have to put in work. You don't get an easy grade. You work for it, but you definetly learn a great deal of material before finishing.Which is probably his point.

One of my favorite teachers!!! I really learned how to write good essays in this class! Theres a lot of class discussions. He had us write a journal which I didn't like. Hes a little bit of a hard grader. But just pay attention and you'll do good.

Teacher is okay except for the fact that he isn't always clear in explaining why he marked you down for something. Overall, he is a good teacher.
