So awesome. Just read and do your work. Interesting material with an interesting prof. Not doing well in his class is a direct reflection of how much work you do. Really great prof. Highly recommended

You know you have a great professor when he can give you interesting reading material, give you great discussion questions in small groups and laugh at his own jokes... especially when no one else but him gets them. He is a great professor, though his lectures are a bit slow at times.

Pretty interesting guy, fairly unclear on what you be expected to write on for exams. Grades hard but fair... Classes are dull sometimes, lots of group discussions. It's a core course and a fairly easy one I guess...

This "class" is a pretty much a joke. He says that he wants to meet every week to discuss how your senior thesis-type paper is developing, but then has absolutely nothing to say about it. However, he has a bad memory so I just ended up not setting up appointments to meet with him. He's nice enough though. Easiest required class ever!

He's such a sweet guy. Very understanding about pretty much anything if you talk to him. His lectures can be a bit boring and if you're not into small group discussions, it's kind of awkward. You don't have to do all of the reading he assigns to get by in the class, but it sure as hell makes it easier.

I love this man! He is so sweet. The class can be hard if you're not into history but I kept asking him for help and got a tutor which brought up my c/d grades to a B-. If you put in the effort he will notice.

this guy is a waste of time and GPA you will never be graded in any consistent way other than low and unexplained. this goes for all work. It's not that he is hard or unpleasant he just grades with a D C average.

The class is kind of hard, and don't expect great grades. He is an okay teacher but looks and mumbles lke Mark Twain. Overall - he's okay, take him if you have to.

Eh...for this class, you have to make sure you keep up with the readings. Some of the readings are difficult to read b/c the language is so out-dated. There aren't any exams, however, there are a few papers to write. He's a nice guy, though.

He definitely rambles off-topic a lot!! Covered a huge variety of topics, none of which seemed to connect together. There is a ton of reading and discussions done in this class. He seems like a nice enough old guy, but an extremely confusing class!!!!!
