I was really disappointed. He was ok in other classes a couple quarters ago. I took this class during the time he was getting ready to retire and he was horrible. He had us look at websites that supposedly look good then told us to design some. There were no lectures/ motivation from this teacher. He didn't want to teach and I wasted my time.

There is no way you can fail Mr. Nagel's class if you are doing your work. If you are disappointed with your project grade REDO it! Also, there are no TEXTBOOKS, although he does recommend books for you to buy He is super helpful, and on top of things. Not to mention his assignment sheets are cosmetically nice and EASY to read!

THE BEST! He is by far the best graphic arts teacher I've had thus far. He knows his stuff, he lectures, and is more than willing to take the time to go step by step with you. I took this class in Summer School and I was grossly unfamiliar with flash animation. he sat with me for well over 30 minutes explaining things. He is 100x's better than Cole

He is a very good teacher! If you take a lot of classes with him and get to know him he will push you harder! Very helpful also~ If he knows you can do the work he wont mind you are late!! Just make sure you are there for lab and sign in!!! I agree he is way better than COLE~!

Very helpful and informative. He has real world experience and likes to share what he has done. Always on time and stays the whole class period even when there is lab time. I wish he taught more of the program for Graphic Design because he is way more interesting than Mr. cole. Nagel is very incouraging and positive with much advise and suggestions

He is a very nice and friendly guy who keeps you interested in the subjects he's teaching. He is always ready to help even outside class. He's very friendly and patient and he can guide you when you're stuck. You just have to pay attention to what he teaches and you'll get an A.

Love this teacher, he helps students with whatever they need. He creates a great learning environment. Very understanding and will work with whatever problems you have. Since im already experienced in art he tries to push me further, love him for that. HAHAHAH! Wish Mr. Cole was like this hes gay.

This teacher is great. Easy class if your stuck he sits with you and helps with whatever you need. the projects are simple, you dont even have to try; he just wants you to learn enough of the program to where you can do it on your own. His tests are stupid; making you learn every design element.

Pretty helpful if you get stuck with programs. But overall projects are pretty much left to ourselves and a little bit creativity. Although Nagel has a pretty good sense of design principles, his tastes are real dull and boring.

He is a good teacher. I learned alot from him even though I took his advance course first which was 55B and skipped 55a. I think he is the real deal when he talk about printing. he also have a field trip to a real printing shop. (not sure these days.)
