Absolutely LOVED this class! If I could take it again, I honestly would. You have to study very hard for test, watch lectures, get smoking notes, study lecture notes. He is a very interesting professor, knows so much, really motivates you to take risks in life(entrepreneurship) , and teaches you that its ok to fail... because its experience.

Comment:

SUPER helpful class for anyone thinking about becoming an entrepreneur. Tests are tricky (sometimes worded oddly) and very specific, so you must watch the lectures and take notes from the powerpoints, and you must read the textbook thoroughly in order to do well. Participation counts a lot, so stay on top of it. Papers are easy.

Comment:

One of my favorite Professors by far! He's very personable and funny. He drops your lowest grades, so save them incase you forget to do an assignment. Smokin Notes is was helped me get an A and and A on all the tests if you study them well.

Comment:

Great professor! Exams are very straightforward. Read the book and then Smokin' Notes and you're good for the exam. Watch out for module discussions that say they're optional, you have to participate in them and reply to other posts. Papers and graded discussions are required as well. But overall, easy class and Professor Rossi is very interesting!

The grading scale is tough. 94 or higher is an A. Even if you get 100s in all the assignments and have a C average on the exams, you'll get a B-. Exams are VERY specific so you have to read the book and go over lecture notes.

Rossi is absolutely awesome. He obviously loves teaching, is dedicated to his students, and brings up really interesting and intelligent points about entrepreneurship/business trends. I really enjoyed his class!! An A is somewhat hard to get b/c of the 94% cut-off w/out extra credit, but just watch lecture and read the book and an A- is easy

Comment:

Prof. Rossi is one of the most enthusiastic teachers in the Warrington College. He genuinely loves teaching and you can tell through his lectures. It's a pretty easy class to get a B+ or A- in, and an A is doable if you read the smokin notes a few of times and go to class. It's a shame if you don't actually go to class and get the full experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed this course and learned a lot from the speakers Prof Rossi brought in. Minimal book use during class, but you'll need to read the chapters to be successful on the exams. Only two easy easy papers were due during the course. Other than that no hmwk, just exams. Great guy with wonderful energy!

its fun to watch his lectures, good guy, good examples... however the exams contains very vague and ambigous questions.. the TA David Blumberg is lazy... essays are graded in a rush to meet deadlined so many errors are made... material is very hard... textbook sucks, no exam reviews....

Prof. Rossi is awesome! I actually made the effort to get to the live lectures because I enjoyed his teaching style. I would recommend him to anyone interested in Entrepreneurship. Advice: Study the main points in the textbook chapters and the main points made in lectures/slides. 2 short essays are assigned that shouldn't give you trouble.

A good, enthusiastic lecturer with great knowledge and experience in the field. 3 exams (Smokin Notes help you prepare well, do the practice tests). 2 easy essays. All in all an easy, informative class. It's a must if you're interested in Entrepreneurship at all.

rossi is a great lecturer, but much more subdued after class. very enthusiastic about his subject and a very useful/informative class. smoking notes is a must. 3 tests 40 q each. if u do well on 1,2,3 u skip the final exam. essays are graded by TA's and are easy. took a good deal of studying but i got an A+. not a bad class overall.

Tests have 15 out of 40 questions coming from the book, and they can be quite nitpicky, so study the textbook carefully. The other 25 questions come from the slides and are pretty easy. The essays are easy to get credit for, I got full credit on both. Just be sure to proofread them. I expected to learn more from this class but atleast I got an A.

An amazing course, learned so much and all applicable to life after college. Tests are very nitpicky, smokin notes helps with lectures but you need to read the chapters 2-3 times, random questions generated from them. He is very available to talk to about life, and a really amazing guy to network and get to know!!! Recommend to all majors !
