This class was really a waste of time. I did not learn anything, and no its not me. He does not make sense and pretty much doesn't care if you learn or not. Im pretty sure 98% of the class failed as we were all lost on everything that he tried to teach.

I love Professor Dammena! He is so helpful and wants you to pass. If you do the homework, and study the practice tests, then youll do fine on the exams. I took him for math 40 and 73 and I am so sad he wont be teaching math 150 for spring semester. I highly recommend him for those who struggle with math.

such an unorganized professor. would give lectures and solve problems the entire time. everyone would question how he got that answer and he wouldnt even know, spends about ten min to find how he got his answer but cant find out what he did wrong. He also has a thick accent so beware. Had issues with him and contacted the dean on him. never again

I honestly would not recommend taking this class. He has a very thick accent so it is pretty difficult to understand him, if you don't sit near the board. He doesn't ever explain how to do a problem. He just shows you the answer and sometimes doesn't even know how he got it himself. He is a very tough grader and is not a very caring guy at all..

Honestly this teacher seems pretty careless because he would sometimes leave things out that he never taught and he would assign homework on it and have it on the test. And sometimes would not break down how he would do a problem enough. If you don't mind learning by your self; you're going to have to do that x3.

He's a pretty clear instructor. The way that you turn in homework is definitely a load off of your back. the test are pretty straight forward as well (25 questions). I would take his class again.

Took his math 73 class. He's a really nice guy but kind of difficult to understand due to his accent. It took me a few weeks before I got used to his voice. There's plenty of homework assigned. Make sure you go to class because he does go through the material pretty quickly. Sit in the front middle rows so you can see the board!! You'll learn lots

This is the worst teacher i have ever had. im not just some disgruntled student who got a c in his class. i worked extremely hard, did his homework religously, and studied regularly. His demeanor was indifferent towards students. His organization was shameful. Tests had questions he didnt so much as mention.Q's on tests were too heavily weighted.

Seriously this guy is the worst teacher. Its even worse if math doesn't come easy to you. I had to drop it in the spring semester and re take with another instructor it in the summer and got an A. He teches as though the students already know the material and he is just recapping. Don't waste your semester...take another instructor.

Professor D's 130 class is challenging, but ok if you already have a decent foundation of algebra. Buying the book is a must, all of his lessons use the examples from the chapter. He drops lowest test score and pulls the questions from homework and chapter review. key to success-do the homework, and ask any question you have before you get lost!

i do not recommend this teache to people whos not good at math because he's not there to help you. You have to be on track and understand the material. It was a review for me becasue i took algebra during high school but this class was difficult. Got an A in this class bc i worked my butt off. Professors nice and sometimes funny though!

yes he is a nice teacher but made learning hard. I passed math 40 with an A with Stillson and then had to drop this class because i was doing miserably. Never have i struggled with a class like this in my life!! I studied and did the homework too, but it didn't help. Not recommended!!
