I don't know why some folks would say that his class was hard. I have never been the best student when it comes to making high grades but if you take his notes and study his study guides then you CAN NOT fail. He sounds a bit like the dry eyes dude but I could care less as long as he tells us what's gonna be on the test! Tons of extra credit too!

dear gawd hes hard. i failed every test we took the only thing that saved me was extra credit and the book report. hes a nice guy, understanding and helpful, but his lectures are roman numeral and most of the test is in what he says not what he writes. his test where hard, he gives study guides for each one. read the book as you go it helps alot.

Expects you to take notes and read chapters not covered. Runs off on tangents. He is very unclear. No concise method to his teaching. Knows too much and expects too much. The study guide is massive if done correctly. Most of it is not on the tests and yet he wants you to know the information.

Awesome teacher. Most of the people I know who don't pass aren't very well educated on critical thinking questions and how to apply the information they have been given. Loved his lectures, he is very helpful.

Awful Government teacher. He is to smart for his own good. He thinks just because he knows the material that we should automatically know it too. I failed his class after making an A in GOVT 2301. Very disappointing.

Mr. Waite is an excellent teacher if you pay attention and take good notes. I received an A in his class easily, and he gives a couple of extra credit opportunities to the entire class. If you don't like critical thinking skills, or think you should be able to just "copy the board" for notes without listening, you will not do well in this class.

WARNING! If you are thinking about taking Govt 2302, I am warning you now skip Prof. Waite. I made an A in Govt I from another Professor, but the highest I could score on any of his tests was an 85. His tests are completely unreasonable, and the answers aren't always a definitive correct answer, sometimes he puts two correct ones in the question.

I took this class online. Read all the chapters, read his summary posted online, and completed his objective questions but when it came to taking the proctored test...NONE of that prepared you! The questions seemed to come from his standard lectures which online students do not have. Only passed thanks to his extra credit.

You will learn a lot from his lectures but your grade will not necessarily reflect that. His tests are a bit confusing, its as if you need to know what he is thinking. Sometimes no correct answer will be available but that does not matter. He does however provide opportunities for extra credit and makes it possible to get a passing grade.

Prof Waite was great!!! He required a lot of reading from the text book for minor details that he didn't go over in class. If you want a high A, you will have to search the book and his notes for answers to his review sheets. Don't forget to have a study partner!

He is very monotone, I bought the book and to this day have never used it. He gives you an outline of what is going to be on his test, but it's not very helpful. He's not that bad of a prof, but he's not very engaging. Will most likley end up with a C in his class.

I tool his class on-line Western Civ loved it. Gives you clear outlines the questions will be on the test. Responds quickly to E-mails and lets you know his availability ie., if he goes out of town you know. Final MLA Bibliography with Synposis. Taking GOVT., 2302 in class with him and HIST 2311., online with him. Great Professor

Extremely helpful simply by his chalking up the board prior to class arrival. If you have been out of school for a while, this simple task really helps by putting notes in order. This helped me formulate study guides in order to pass his class.
