Comment:
This class was an experiment in Cyberfeminism and a collaborative effort with BGSU. Overall, there was little input from the professors, each school had different requirements, and really not much plan. Next year it is supposed to involve 15 universities, but I think there is a lot of work to do to really define a syllabus.

TERRIBLE. No structure, idiotic grading techniques, and just plain boring. If I hear how corporations are ruining everything one more time...

I took many classes with her and she was my advisor as well. She was so awesome...and listened. It's tough to be a mainstream media studies major in a school that seems anti-Hollywood, but she encouraged me every step of the way! TAKE ANY CLASS SHE OFFERS!

I took Learning From YouTube with her. While she admits that she probably won't teach it again, it is worth a warning if it is ever offered. This class was repetitive and tedious. Juhasz didn't seem to have any plan and didn't really have very profound insights into the workings of YouTube. I would not recommend this class or professor.

A laid back, alternative prof. No serious learning, but good for an unorthodox point of view and an easy A.

She was my advisor. She was a great role model but not there enough when I needed her and put her personal issues with students before their work.

Juhasz is passionate and energetic. Class discussions are a waste of time. If you wish to have some employment or understanding of traditional film making you won't find her class helpful.

The most amazing professor. She's funny and passionate about what she teaches, which makes it all worth while. She really cares about what her students take away from the course and is SO easy to talk to. I HIGHLY recommend taking her classes.

Alex is great- she can be anti-hollywood to a fault, and I still haven't forgiven her for making us watch "vertical roll". Otherwise, she's incredibly smart, politically active and enthusiastic.
