Comment:

Ms. Bruce is awesome. Her lectures are very interesting and she has the power points available online for you to look back on. All of the assignments are short answer, no multiple choice. This class was very interesting and fun and I genuinely enjoyed coming to class. I intend to take her for my other science classes as well.

Comment:

Ms. Bruce, I loved her so much I took her TWICE! Her classes are challenging, but you learn so much if you attend regularly and pay attention. She's sooo funny, once you get her sense of humor, which makes her lectures interesting and less painful to sit through. Don't hesitate to take her, you won't regret it!

Comment:

Professor Bruce is an excellent instructor! I took her Astrology (Solar System) Course, and it was my favorite course the entire semester. She is very knowledgeable and patient with her students. There is hardly any homework and the tests are not too difficult if you complete and study the reviews beforehand. I would definitely recommend her!

I see people have her for physics and struggle. Well I have her for astronomy, stars and galaxies and although, a good teacher, the work is different. Her reviews have nothing to do with the exams, if you're lucky maybe one or two questions. She's doesn't give much side work to help you pass. She's a teacher for astronomy majors. Wouldn't recommend

Ms. Bruce is hilarious and brilliant. She is a wonderful professor, but be prepared to work. I thoroughly enjoyed taking Physics 1301 with her. The only people who seemed to dislike her or her course, are the same people who did not want to put in the effort or do the work/studying/tutoring necessary to pass.

She's an amazing person & educator. You definitely learn in her class because of how clear she is but you need to stay on top of it, review notes after class, go to the awesome tutor (VV campus), really study for exams (5, FINAL IS ON everything STUDY AHEAD OF TIME w lots of time) they're tough! Really get an understanding for an A.

I took her for engineering physics 1 and I did not want to take it with her ever again but ended up with her again she tries to make class fun but test are very hard and she says study your homework but some of the problems on her test were never on her homework. She make the class hard then it already is I would never take another class with her.

Professor Bruce is an AWESOME professor! Her tests a very fair. Basically the questions come from the home work, reviews, and questions she does on the board. If you can solve the problems from all three you will make A's on her tests. She explains everything in detail and best of all, she usually would let us out of class an hour early.

Bruce is by far the best physics instructor with whom I have taken a course. The professors at UTEP who teach the non-majors physics courses are no good, and even the calculus-based physics classes are too engineer-focused. Bruce is amazing. I swear I'm in love with her. If you need to take a physics course, or if you want to enjoy physics: BRUCE!!

She's absolutely great! I was already fairly interested in physics, and I came out hoping to make it part of my degree (as I'm going into research, hopefully). She is really good about making you understand everything as clearly as possible. I would definitely recommend her to anyone taking algebra-based physics! BRUCE!

I really hate physics but she makes it easier, she is an intelligent teacher who will be able to help you out whenever you need to. I took this on a summer and it wasnt as hard as i thought it would be.
