Very interesting lectures, attendance is important with many different assignments. If you listen and participate in class, turn in the few open ended essays on time, you will get an A. Easy grader, loves for his students to be creative. Took him for 101 and loved it, tried him again for 103 and Aced both.

I don't know what happened but he quit half way through the semester. He was an amazing teacher but he left us with the worst possible substitute, ORONA-CORDOVA. He really loves english and really loves hearing everyone's personal thoughts and ideas. Easy grader and amazing at prompting the class for writing. Very encouraging and helpful.

this is the wierdest dude! most of the time i couldn't understand the connection b/w one phrase & the next! he doesn't teach at all, but he's a diecent grader. everyone in class got A or B. if you care bout the class (and you show him that)and you do all your h.w. you can easily get an A. just remember to be creative!

HORRIBLE TEACHER!! Very unorganized. The only way to get an A is to suck up to him and talk to him a lot. I'm a straight A student and got a B in his class because I'm quiet in class. He doesn't explain what he wants but if it's not EXACTLY what he's looking for than he'll mark you down. Didn 't learn anything. WASTE OF TIME!! Funny but BAD teacher

Professor Borden is a fabulous teacher..one of the best at Pierce. He is totally into helping his students learn and succeed. He is interesting, imaginative and so intelligent. He is also HOT!! Take his class, you will learn a lot and grow as a human being.
