Comment:

Not a huge fan at first, but Prof Shonkwiler grows on you. One thing I admired her for - she is very careful to provide clear reasons and facts for her opinions on literary works and life issues discussed in her class. She is highly intelligent, and she is interested in hearing her students' thoughts as well, as long as they can back them.

Very intelligent and knows what she's talking about. She's always willing to help and is easy to talk to. This is def not an easy A class though, you have to work hard to earn a good grade.

she is a wonderful teacher and extremely helpful too. she's very encouraging and allows her students plenty of room to improve...also a very lenient grader. after getting a C+ in expos and hating writing, she raised my confidence and helped me develop better skills as a writer and a researcher. i recommend her highly

she is lovely, and extremely encouraging. she's not a tough grader and pretty lenient about some stuff. just show her you're willing to improve and you'll do fine. of course you must know how to write as well.

This was possibly the best professor I've ever had. After failing expos once, she brought my hope back and taught me how to write. It was great.
