Beware, adjust professor who uses MyITLAB because he is retired. Microsoft Office can be learned through YouTube. If you are a true Computer Science student do NOT take this class as it will not transfer. He reads off of PowerPoints, assigns monotonous homework, and of course requires attendance. This course should only be taken by last resort.

Comment:

Professor Henness is very knowledgeable with his field, especially with Linux. His lectures are long but informative. There is a lot of homework that is long and monotonous. He helps students very well with the HTML project at the end of the semester. Professor Henness is willing to go around your schedule with tests and finals.

Worst professor I have ever had. He reads straight from a power point every class. Never goes over the information that you need that is NOT in the book. He teaches you absolutely nothing. Never ever take this class.

If you have a problem staying awake, don't take this class. Most boring class I have ever had. LOTS of homework, easy, but it takes literally hours to do. Takes attendance every class. Do not recommend.

This class was boring as hell. I regret taking this class in the summer because it was 3 hours. Most of the class he read a Powerpoint of the book (every page). The hardest part of this class was staying awake.

THIS CLASS IS AN EASY A.... All you have to do is overdose on caffeine before class. Tests require little effort; homework is easy (step-by-step directions, hard to screw up). His jokes are only funny to people that really know computers, networks, and/or DOS (aka. you probably won’t laugh)... Oh yeah, the group project is a breeze.

I took him for introduction to theory of how computers work. Prereq. for 142, i think.. either way, he is borrring as hell. I dropped my comp. major after this guy because nothing in his class was hands on. I noticed how cheap RVC was after him.

OMG! laughs at every word he says (never mind the fact what he said wasn't funny), has no clue what he is talking about, reads his 40+ page power point presentation which he himself doesn't undertand, OK prof. if you can stay awake

Non-stop 40 page PowerPoint presentations and he reads every word. The only reason to show up for class is the homework assignments. Mind-numbing.
