Out of all the Columba teacher I here this one gives the least work. This class was so pointless I dont know why Iona college makes us takes this. We learn nothing. The only assignment is one page essays, a couple of discussion questions not hard, one test it definitely was hard, and a research paper 4 pages. He chats a lot but I watch youtube.

Comment:

Avoid at all costs! Did not learn a thing in his class. He would spend all class on a problem just to realize at the end he got the numbers or formulas mixed up. Maybe he is smart, but he had no idea what he was doing as a teacher. The course had no direction, and he would constantly contradict himself.

Pointless. Had to teach myself. Everyone was on their phones the entire class. Bought the textbook for no reason and didn't use to once. He assigned three homeworks and used completely different numbers when reviewing them on the board. He didn't even know we were almost done with the course and skipped material. And no one could understand him.

Honestly worst professor I have had a Hagan School of Business. Considering it was my last class I think that says something. Tests were unnecessarily hard and tricky. Was not all from the material in class. His lectures go on tangents and are hard to understand. Then gets frustrated when asked questions.

Prof. Shetty is a very nice man, and has an interesting sense of humor. He is really intelligent, so I think he gets bored teaching the easy stuff (which really isn't easy to the students). But if you keep him on track and prevent him from going off on tangents, he is a great professor.

Dr. Shetty was very helpful for a hard topic. He wanted you to understand but he was confusing at times. When he wrote on the board he was hard to understand what he wrote, so be sure to stop him and ask questions. But he graded very fairly. Nice guy.

The Worst professor I had. You can't understand a thing he says, and if you do he can't make up his mind if it's correct or not. Very unclear, grades reasonably, but overall I don't recommend, you won't learn anything in his class.

Great professor! Extremely understanding and will help you anyway he can. material is hard of course but he tries to make you understand and hold something of it for the rest of your life. I would love to take him again.
