He is the good professor. His explenations are ok, if you pay extra attention and ask proper questions. Exams and quizzes are based on homework, just try to do all homework problems. Even if you don't know how to solve a problem, you can ask him in class. He spends a lot of time during a lecture to answer homework questions. He cares about students

Professor Kuklov lost my exam and... tried covering it up. First, he stated that I never took the exam. Fortunately, I had emails sent to him asking about the status of my exam. Now the head of PE is looking at my case. Do not take this guy unless you enjoy lies. Also, if you manage to take his class COPY EVERYTHING you do or he won't "recall" it.

Try to lear, ask him good questions, and you will have a good time. If you don't ask him questions he will assume everyone's following and just move forward. Some people find this challenging, but really all you have to do is stop him. He is very patient with answering good questions.

Comment:
THE WORST POSSIBLE TEACHER. He is a brilliant man but can not teach. He cant explain the material in coherent way. He goes way too fast and is completely unapproachable. His tests are borderline impossible. This is the hardest class ive ever taken. You do alot of calculus, and he expect you be really good in it. Painfully boring class--its awful.

Do not take him. Avoid. Danger. Run away. Makes everything complicated and confusing. Miserable, rude, and unapproachable man. He takes the joy out of a potentially great class. He is the typical smart teacher who is not cut out to teach you. Talking is not teaching. Best of luck... you will need it.

Comment:
Class material was not difficult at all but this professor made it difficult. Tests were very hard and unlike anything based off of the homeworks (which he emphasizes). Just derives equations in class and doesn't talk about the practicality of physics. Boring. You ask him a question and he quickly dismisses you without a real answer.

His explanations are dry and boring it kept me loathing this class! The way he explains problems is not very helpful at all. He may be smart but he is not meant to teach second level physics 160.

Mr. Kuklov is an outstanding professor. While the material is difficult, he provides consistent, thorough explanations. I earned a grade of "A" in the course, and I felt that Professor Kuklov was pulling for me the entire time. On a personal note, I had a chance to meet his entire family and they are terrific people. I highly recommend this course.

He could have helped students better in the lab. No matter how much effort we put to write the lab reports , the grade was not as I expected. lab report grades did not satisfy the effort of the students.

A satisfactory professor of disciplined nature from Russia. Although utterly incoherent at times, he made physics a interesting subject and expected a good understanding of basic calculus. Earned a C+ by doing well on first exam.

He is a horrible teacher. He doesn't know how to teach at all. When you tell him that you don't understand and asks questions his most POPULAR phrase is: "it's common sense" or "it's elementary!" seriously, how is that answering my questions? Do NOT take him if you don't need to, he is freakin horrible...you'll never understand anything he says.

He isn't easy! He can go FAST! If you ask questions... he is patient in answering! :-) You WILL have to work in the class. Make sure you do the homeworks and POST THEM on the chalkboard and PARTICIPATE!!! He does do problems that are above the calculus level required, however he NEVER asks them on tests. (Straight forward tests... no bad tricks)
