Professor Sola tends to rub people the wrong way. By the end of the session he finally grew on me. He demands work to be completed and gives no second chances. He was that mean professor the pushed me to work harder and I was very proud of the final grade I EARNED.

This teacher was very harsh for an introductory class. I took an online course, where I had an essay due each week. The mid-term was 2 essay and 4 essays for the final. I don't see how people are saying it was easy. Everyone in my class were having a hard time with this guy.

worst professor ever. I've taken much more advanced courses but he thinks his 101 class is the hardest, so he makes it that. He has to feel superior to everyone. He constantly belittles students. He has a major power trip. He is disorganized, does not work off of the syllabus. does not except your work if you have to miss class no matter what.

Dr. Sola is great! He makes the class fun, he has a good teaching style, and he's not a bad grader. You read out of one to three books maximum, and you do about 5 essays for the whole semester. Be prepared discuss topics with groups and to class.

Dr. Sola is a raving liberal, and his strong democratic/third party views make the class interesting. He conducts the class in a fun, laid back fashion which is very descriptive of his personality. I would definitely recommend the class.

Andy is so down to earth. He is young, and very smart. He knows his stuff. The actual class isn't that hard, just do the readings and write essays. The topics we read about are awesome and we can pretty much pick our own topic for essays. Good Class!
