Not only is writ 121 difficult at lcc but ms mullen is very difficult. She doesn't teach, you teach yourself. She constanly repeats stupid sentences that nobody cares about.She not once explained how a analytical expository essay is different then what you learn in high school! And its much different! It'll make or breaks you grade wise. Stay away!

WRIT121 is a difficult class; that is if you have no idea what analytical writing is. Instead of talking down to the entire class and treating us like an annoyance maybe Mrs. Mullen should spend a little more time actually explaning what kind of papers we are supposed to be writting. To pass this class, I spent many hours at the writing center.

This lady is a joke of a professor. She has no idea what she's doing. She rambles on about nothing for the entire class period. No one in my class got above a 2.5 on any papers. DO NOT TAKE HER. NO EXCEPTIONS. I thought I could handle it, but I couldn't. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR HER CLASS. EVER. TEACHER FROM HELL.

She printed in a hand out "SO WHAT?WHO CARES?" this is her attitude as well. She is very negative, and her grading is extream. In my class of 22, on the first 2 essays so far no one was graded higher than a 1.5-2! I have revised my first two essays,and each time my papers where covered in ink.I dread going to class,which is sad. Drop if you can!

She was not helpful. I had her two days a week and dreaded going to class. We did hardly any work with our papers, and she was very strict on grading them. Out of my class of 20, no one recieved over a 1.5-2 on ANY of their 4 papers.I would highly recommend taking another teacher for writing.I used to enjoy writing until I took this class.

she is the worst teacher ever. she told every one i make her suicidal and called me a dope head along with a few others. if you have her get out of the class for real. you will be miserable. it is boring and the teacher is nasty. she is opinionated but never cares what you have to say. she makes rude comments in front of everyone. straight hell.

Mullen is not the absolutely worst prof in the world, but pretty close. Rude, impatient, too opinionated, moody, and talks down to almost everyone in her class. I was an "ok" before I entered her class, and didn't improve. She was very little help to me.

The subject writing 121 is not easy, so why should the teacher be easy. Mullen urges people to do their best. She repeats things alot, but I am glad for that. Very stressful class for my first semester in college in 25 yrs. You can do well if you try...it's YOUR job to try.

This lady was by far the meanest lady with no heart. She is always yelling at us and making us feel like crap. She told one kid to either learn to smoke faster or quit smoking all together because he was wasting her time. I mean come on... what kind of person does that? She also grades paper very strictly. Says "uhh" A LOT!!! If you have her, DROP!
