Comment:

Uses clickers, packback questions weekly, $25 access code needed, about 15 practice quiz questions are on the test. I think you can miss maybe 3 lectures. First test was easy, second was hard, final replaces lowest test grade. The final is optional and cumulative with 115 questions.

Class is horrible notes do not line up with study guides, study guides arent questions based they are topic based. Study guides also dont help for exams quizlets neither. Do not take class average for every exam is around 60s and she doesnt curve do not take unless you want to destroy your GPA.

She is very knowledgeable about the subject. You have to work very hard for this class it's not just an easy "A". The only thing I did not like is that she practically reads off the slides and you have to pay for homework and attendance.

Comment:

If you can, take BIOL 1050 w/ her. She was always super accessible in office hours and after class when I had questions. Tests aren't hard as long as you do her review sheet and go to class. She drops your lowest exam grade, and if you're satisfied with your grade you don't have to the the final. Also, don't buy the textbook, I used it once.

You can tell Ms. Bunnell knows the subject matter very well. Her powerpoints can be redundant however, the information covered in them is useful because the study guides do not go over all of the material on the tests. There are four tests and an optional final exam- she'll drop the lowest grade. Attend class, and you'll finish with a decent grade

The absolute worst!!!! I was apart of the non bio major class she treated like we were bio majors. She doesn't respond to emails and you can study with quizlet, textbook, ANYTHING and you still barely pass.

Attendance is through learning catalytics. Lectures whole time. Tests are extremely difficult, the way everything is worded is so confusing. Notes during class barley relate to the tests. For homework use the app socratic.

Honestly one of the worst professors I've had. Textbook was a waste of money. She lectures the WHOLE time, if you do not go to class you will NOT pass. Need to email her and ask a question? Don't bother because she won't respond. This professor irks my nerves and I highly recommend you try to take someone else if you can!!

This professor has made this experience SO bad. Do not buy the textbook, it is a complete waste of time. She keeps you for the entire lecture period and her PowerPoints are so dull and dry. She is a very harsh grader and the information on her tests do NOT line up with her study guides. She also barely responds to emails.

She teaches the bare minimum in class lectures. If you don't go home and read the text book, make your own study guides, and meet up with other class members you won't pass. Her powerpoint slides are copy and pasted from small parts in the book but doesn't explain the concepts. Also she rarely answers her emails so don't expect much help from her.

I love biology but, she shows videos and gets the class involved with learning catalytics. She gives homework every week online which is a great review for the test. She gives a study guide and is helpful at office hours. She is good at explaining and giving examples. She does take the entire class period. Her powerpoint are online and grades fast

She knows her stuff. DO NOT GET THE TEXTBOOK. Only reason you won't pass this class is because of YOU. Take good notes, review them, stay off your phone, don't talk during lectures and you will be fine. Sometimes she says important things for the tests that are not on the PowerPoint so pay attention. The class size is huge so email is not ideal.

I wouldn't take her again because she's not the best teacher, you'll learn most the material on your own or just NOT at all. 4 exams including final. Final is fairly easy. POP assignments, not quizzes. All the HW is through MES & she takes attendance through Learning Catalytic's. I'd say take notes on paper, listen & study from quizlet & u may pass

has attitude for any question you have. If it is not to be said "legitimate", then it is not acceptable and she will not respond. although I have sent several and they all seem legitimate to me. But I never got a response. Tests are extremely difficult with no guide on what it will be except a study guide she calls it with no help.

Most boring class I have ever had. Her lectures are so boring and her examples make no sense. The tests are so hard and she doesn't tell you what to study. Makes study guides but it's just a guide. She doesn't know how to work technology so watch your grade with the attendance. If you have questions ask her in person because she does not do emails.

her lectures and study guides are not at all like what her tests are like. I could explain everything to you forwards and backwards on what we learned in class and still get a bad grade on the test because the test does not make sense and she grades hard.

Professor Bunnell is such a nice teacher. She will help you if you have questions. There were a couple of assignments, a quiz every week (which were helpful because some were used as exam questions), lowest exam score will be dropped, packback every week.

Great professor. Several tests, online quizzes, and homework. She drops the lowest test grade. The tests can be tricky so make sure you study and ask questions. I visited her office hours after each test and you can tell she genuinely cares about her students. Take her and be prepared to learn/work for your grade.

the most boring class I have ever sat through. She makes it even worse by keeping you in class for the full time. If time is left over she will just go over old material. I studied hard for the first test and still made a 60. I tried reaching out for help but she does not respond to emails. Homework every week but does not prepare for test.

study guides are nothing like tests, lectures are very long and hard to pay attention to so you should take notes from the book on your own time, attendance credit is given when you answer q's online during class. she drops the lowest test grade and you get a 100 for online quizzes for just completing them which seems helpful but wasn't really.
