Dr Illum is a wealth of knowledge if you give him a chance. His expectations are not outrageous. Go to class, be helpful, work hard, and it's an easy A. You'll enjoy the class if you don't think you're too cool. The people who rated him poorly are serious slackers.

Dr Illum is awful.. He is absolutly NO help. He is useless and horrible. I have tried to go to his office for help and he was NEVER there!! I will NEVER EVER take another class from this guy..

Easiest A you will ever get. But this man is extremely annoying. We don't have class half of the semester and the days we do have class sometimes he just decides to talk about what's on his mind, then expects you to take notes because that's how he grades you for participation. GET ON HIS GOOD SIDE FROM THE START! It will pay off. PAINFULLY EASY!

Great professor who cares about his students. Always sending info about class, internships, jobs, etc in emails. Gives pts for attendence. Very easy A if you go to class. No final if getting an A. Wants you to stay in touch after you graduate so he knows how you're doing. Nice man.

Dr. Illum's a great teacher who spends lots of timing planning and caring about his students. He is always forwarding info about class, internships, jobs, etc. He tries his best to relate class to what we will deal with in real life. Easy professor.

The worst teacher I have ever had, not just in college but in life. A 3rd grader could pass this course. The class is PAINFULLY easy... stressing the "painfully". Steve doesn't know anything but tries to act like he does. Field trips are cool, but useless. Class is a JOKE, this guy gives the REC department a bad name. I am shocked he has a PHD.

Very interesting person. He cares about his students and he takes his classes VERY seriously, so try not to miss them. Get on his good side because grading is based on his opinion of you (by and large). Class isn't hard at all, just do your work and you'll be fine. "Who's next!?"
