I just took Prof. Gordon for online poli sci. He has a clear grading criteria, no surprises. He offered a lot of feedback & comments on my papers which were informative and helpful. I learned quite a bit within 6 wks. I suggest you read the chaps every wk, that will help with the 2 exams. Do the work & you will pass! Great prof!!

Profesor Gordon's class was upbeat and fun to attend. Take good notes, study, attend class, write a response to a few videos and some articles, and you won't have any trouble passing. No extra credit.

He is a good and big heart professor. He always understands students problem. he is a good human being. I like him what way he is teaching. He is accommodating after the class. Prof Gordon is an easy A. you have to be thereto attend video notes which he collects at the end. You have to do 6 one page papers throughout the semester on interesting topics. He gives you a study guide with EXACTLY whats on the test. Hes boring but if your looking for an easy A and a teacher who doesn't call roll hes your guy

Let me tell you gov is NOT my thing, so I was worried when I found out I needed polisci, but this class was very easy! Out early all the time, lots of videos with simple comments for participation, 5 short papers based on interesting articles. There's 3 short tests and the study guides go with the tests perfectly, no surprises! Super nice guy too!

Take him! This class couldn't be any more clear than it is. Show up to watch videos and participate in the discusion and do the study guide before each test. The students who had studied were done with test within 10 minutes. Definitely recommend him!

His lectures were short, we'd get out of class about 20-30 minutes early everyday. He's more of a verbal teacher (no PowerPoint slides, hardly any notes on the board) some videos. There are 6 articles you have to read and write a 1 page paper and discuss it in class. study from the study guide!!

Looks at the ceiling while lecturing and never makes eye contact, but I don't think that bothered anyone. Lectures always end at least 20 minutes early. On essay-discussion day's (days in which after lecture, we discuss our essays) lecture ends about 30 minutes early. Do the essays (well) and study guide (and study from it) and you should get an A

If this teacher is available TAKE HIM. there are 6 1 page responses to articles he assigns and then there are 4 tests. Final is not cumulative. You need to show up to class if you want an A because he plays videos and there are questions on them on the test. He gives study guides for every test. Easy B, slight effort needed for an A

Professor Gordon is a good teacher . He lectures the entire class . There will be 4 test . No homework , but attending class will be helpful . Videos are shown in class and questions are asked about them on the test . You have 6 1 page papers to write on articles . Those will be discussed in class so dont miss the day you do your article. Study !

His class is not so bad at all! I like that fact that his class is very flexible and basically it gives you time to do other work in other classes too! Like you only have to do three articles from List One and List Two that he gives you on the syllabus and that's pretty much it you do not have to do every article and the tests are so easy!

His class is very flexible! Attendance is not mandatory and his class is pretty easy all you have to do is show up for the article discussion days and the test days and that's pretty much it because his lectures it's basically everything he explains from the textbook!

Highly recommend this professor!!! He is so funny and the way he teaches is easy to understand! I honesty didn't mind studying for his class and I looked forward to going to his class and I'm not a political science major!! Take him!!!!

Professor Gordon was GREAT!!I needed the class in order to graduate on time. Emailed him, and he added me even though the class was full. He's super chill. Exams were clear, everything he talks about is on the exam. Movies were okay but did relate to the topic. The papers we had to write were short and simple. I passed without even stressing :)

Comment:

The test come from both book and lecture so it is important to come to class! Study guides and very useful so take advantage and answer all of the questions. Videos he plays do show up on the test so be prepared! Easy A!

5 1-2 page essays briefly discussed in class, extra credit 1-2pg (do it to ensure your A grade) writing portfolio just contains your 1-2pg essays (extra credit), for the multiple choice quizzes, just answer the study guide questions and you will get an A. You don't have to attend class, but cool videos are shown and some of the quiz questions relate to the video.
