Online summer class: software used was under construction. Several times I had difficulties submitting papers. I showed they were submitted; she claimed they weren't. I received automatic F's. No reconsideration. She would not allow submission any other way, even once I explained my problems over several phone calls. I failed because of this.

She is incredibly unlikable. On top of that, this class is surprisingly difficult. Also, she doesn't help very much. It takes forever for her to get your work graded. She's a tough grader and in the class you need at least a 94% to get an A. If you can avoid this class, do it. If you can't, take it with another professor, trust me.

Learned little in this class, corrects the final paper on things that are not necessarily wrong. Doesn't provide much feedback on rough drafts. Overall had a foul mood most of the time while I attended her class.

Wow, horrible teacher. Rough drafts don't mean a thing in her class either, she will find many more mistakes on your final draft that she didn't care to point out in rough drafts. You could take this course and pass it, but why take it from a teacher that will leave you seriously pissed at the end? Not worth it.

I took an online course from her, and she was the worst ever. Her grading is ridiculous. She corrects you on mistakes that she herself makes when she is writing the grade reports. Don't piss her off, you will regret it, I did. Now I am stuck with a poor grade, and I can't do anything about it. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS ONLINE

She is a smart lady. I think many students are arrogant and can't take her constructive critcism well. She lets you earn points back after tests even. Of course she is going to argue when students make comments that are ignorant.

I thought Barb was pretty good actually. I had her during the summer so maybe she's more laid back. She arranged group meetings with her late at night for our projects, to make sure everyone got help. Just show up to class and talk with her and she warms up quick.

Horrible teacher! She is not willing to accept structual critisim. She is a unfair grader. She is rude and not willing to help students. She does not teach and grade by what she puts on her syllubus! Beware bad teacher!

I disagree with the previous poster, Barb's a decent professor. Her lectures are good, the assignments aren't impossibly hard, & she's approachable. She is a bit of a tough grader, though.
