The class is super intense, but you get a ton out of it if you put in the work. His lectures are really interesting and it's overall an enjoyable class.

VERY intense and may come across as intimidating, but has a great passion for subject matter. He takes a genuine interest in his students work, but is rather socially removed from students due to older age. Very demanding coursework, but youll come out the other side feeling like a champ.

Bob is an awesome professor. He's tough. He's old fashioned. You don't use any kind of technology. It's all reading psych papers and discussions. He's a real gem and great professor and he wants to see you succeed. He's got a great sense of humor and he loves participation. Don't let anyone frighten you off from this class. Totally worth it

Gives students a test on 2 textbook chapters every 3 weeks (he does not cover the information in class at all). On top of that he gives 2 tests based on the entirety of lecture so make sure you don't miss a class if you take him. He tends to talk very fast and can cover a lot of information in a short period of time. Just needs to slow class down.

Professor D'Agostino is the worst person in the world. He talks a mile a minute and is a very hard grader. If you miss a lecture you will fail the class. He gives tests every three weeks on information from the textbook. He does not teach one thing from the textbook, so you have to teach it to yourself.

I personally adore his teaching styles and his personality. His lecture is clear and intriguing. He connects the materials like a story with a flow. Very passionate, engaging and interactive. Just show up to class, pay attention, and study early. You'll have to know everything for the 2 tests and that'll be your grade. Grade is ranking-based.

Professor D'Agostino is really enthusiastic and tries to teach a lot, but there are a ton of tests, at least one every two and a half weeks. It's a lot more work than an average psych 101 class.

I had Professor DAgostino for two courses and I absolutely loved him. He is the reason I became a psych major. Although he is a tough grader, his grading system allows you to come back easily. He cares for his students and is overall a great professor.

Bob is a nice professor. However, all he does in class is talk and you only take two toughly graded lecture exams. Throughout the rest of the year you have to read several chapters of a book by yourself and take the test with the TA. He can make a couple of jokes and seems to care about you, but he is a very tough grader and its a lot of material.

Bob is AWESOME once you give him a chance. He can be loud and intimidating at first, but once you get to know him, he's an incredible professor. There's a lot of info and his grading system is weird, so it can seem difficult, but he wants you to learn and what you need to know is very clear. Don't let negative reviews scare you off! He's great! 3

People have extreme polarized opinions to him. I personally really like his class. His lecture is very organized and clear. I've learned tons in his class and it really prepares you for psych. As long as you pay attention and take a lot of notes in his class, the lecture exams will not be hard. I got A on lecture exam. So it is not impossible.

Worst professor I've ever had. His textbook is from the 80s but it is never referenced in class. He scribbles everything on the chalkboard. I went to him multiple times for help but he offered little assistance. He grading is based on ranking system meaning you are competing with your peers. (He "doesn't do percentages.") Awful professor.

from week 12: "today, for the first time i will talk about something in the book" - the course is self-taught given he never talks about our readings, and there are no resources for the material taught in class, so you are screwed if you miss what he is saying. Unfair grading. Talks too fast. No specific hours. Stay away from this prof. x2 the work

Graduated in '87, and Prof. D'Agostino ranks as the best prof I had a G'Burg. Up there with Spanish Prof. Burgess ... I remember him at the door as class started - like he could not wait to start teaching. Long time ago, but left a mark. Hardest, but most rewarding class I took.

Probably one of the hardest teachers i have ever had the misfortune of taking a class with. The grading is kind of weird and slightly unfair and he is horrible with e-mail. Otherwise he is very enthusiastic about his subject matter and means well it just doesn't always come off that way.
