Becca is a sweet and friendly lady but can be weirdly sassy and passive aggressive, especially via email if you ask her a question. Class is very boring but required for major, so pay attention. VERY tough on papers, don't submit anything before at least 2 revisions. Will help if you go to her but writes few helpful comments on papers.

Becca is a knowledgeable professor, but simply just not a good professor! I am a psych major and have never hated a psych class until her class! Her teaching style is very dull and not very engaging, and she is a very tough grader. She's nice enough, but I would never want to have this professor again.

She doesn't have the credentials to teach any class that another professor cannot. Unless you aren't going to graduate on time if you postpone a class she's teaching, then I highly recommend putting off the class until someone else is the prof. The frustration isn't worth it, and you'll learn more with literally anyone else.

She simply isn't a good professor. You're going to get a lot of confusing and often conflicting instructions, not only related to how to do assignments but also on the content you learn. Anything you think that you learn in this class isn't going to help you in your advanced labs. Take it with McCall or Goubet, if possible.

This class is out of this world, in the sense that time slows well-below the level that the all humans outside of your classroom will be experiencing it while you beg for relief. The material is dull enough, but Becca is such a poor professor that I reworked my remaining semesters here to avoid taking another class with her. Avoid at all costs.

unrelenting and unforgiving. Will find a reason to give you a bad grade no matter how hard you try. Refuses to live in the modern world and doesn't use Powerpoint or follow the textbook. If it's not exactly what is in her head, it's wrong.

Had for methods, not easy to make interesting but I could barely keep my eyes open. Grades papers quite harshly without helpful comments, tests can be hard and unclear, but gives a decent amount of easy homework to boosts grades. Her class is boring and frustrating but she does a lot to make sure everyone who tries gets a C to pass.

She only teaches by lecture, which can be boring. Her tests are extremely difficult and almost the only grades for the class. She provides opportunities for extra credit but that may or may not be enough to supplement poor test scores. She is a really sweet and enthusiastic lady but that does not make up for her teaching.

This class is all about memorizing facts! It's dull and confusing and an utter waste of time but if you can memorize material easily then you can do well in this class! FK tries to be helpful but always remember that she is extreamly superficial!

Becca's cool. Some students think her classes are boring, but that's only because they don't have the same passion for cognition as she does. She does try to make it more interesting, as she does realize it can be dry for students.
