Bonnie is great! She makes the literature interesting. She is very fun and bubbly with a great sense of humor. She has a realistic idea of people's interest and skill level. She grades you on your skill level not hers, which is nice.

A comment on the comment below mine:As a double Eng/History major in my 4th year here at Roosevelt,it has been my experience that a class discussion can only be as interesting, perceptive, and sophisticated as the people in the class . I am sorry you probably got a "bad class" .Guzenhauser rocks!I had two classes with her. Highly recommended.

This teacher was alright. She grades primarily on the quality of your papers, and class participation. At times the discussions in class remind me of high school (boring). The class can drag at times, but overall I recommend her if you are willing to participate and turn in good written papers.
