Comment:
Professor Ye is an amazing drama instructor and acting coach, he always knows how to extract more from the students, how to improve their monologues or scenes without telling them exactly what to do, just making them think about the scene. He is positive, intelligent, engaging, good-humored and very knowledgeable about all aspects of the theater.

George is a very easy going professor. His material involves nothing too challenging, just a few performances and a play critique. Even though George can be slow at posting grades, George a provides lots of inspiration and excellent feedback for performing at our bests. He will slow down class to ensure that his students are ready to perform well.

George Ye is a great teacher. He is light hearted and kind, so you never feel judged. I had a summer class with him and our homework was easy: self reflections and a short essay about a play/musical I saw that summer. He spoke in a way we could all understand and gave suggestions and feedback instead of totally changing everything. A+

If you take just one class in college take acting 132. And if you take acting at Mesa then take Professor George Ye. He is one of my all time favorite professors ever! Acting classes are awesome, you learn so much about yourself and others.

George and Kris Clark are some of the worse professors I've ever had. They are lazy and grade everything last minute, not enough time for you to know whether you should drop the class or not. Do not take part of the Theater Company, especially with a "Professor" like Kris Clack, she doesn't teach anything and expects you to know everything already

This is my first theater class and I'm loving it. He's very approachable but he is also tough at times, which is a very good thing. He won't let people bs around in the class. You have to work hard in his class there are few assignments but each one counts big.

I was very involved in this class. It made my summer very fun! There are two theatre reviews that you have to go to in order to write your papers. There were also weekly quizzes and discussions. Be sure to read your drama book and take notes on terms in the book. I took three busy 8 week classes that summer and I passed this class with an A.

The material in this class was interesting. The work load wasn't bad at all for an 8 week course but if u take this class on campus I bet u'd have to read a lot less and get to focus on interactive activities. So if u choose to do it online don't complain about having to read and take quizzes. Professor Ye is always willing to help even online.

This professor is really unclear as to what he wants in his online class. Expectations for an online ENTRY class to dramatic arts aka most people are only enrolled to meet the fine art requirement are WAY too high. Yes, this is college and it requires work, but he shouldn't punish us because we aren't willing to be 100% to theatre,

He is understanding and wants you to do good in his course. Read the textbook, do your work and you'll do great! I had some rough times due to being on travel for work and I turned in assignments late. He was generous enough to allow me to turn in my work and sympathized with my situation as a profesional working student. Take his course!

Worst professor ever. A test question directly contradicted the book(by an entire continent). I brought it to his attention showing him that sentence. He basically told me to get over it and never returned the points. Make sure everything you write is absolutely worshiping the theater or you get no points. Easy A, if you write what he wants.

Very nice guy. He is very interested in the subject and has much history with working in the acting field. He's really funny and makes class fun. Everyone participates so expect that. Homework is pretty simple there isnt much of it at all really. Lots of fun exercises. Def recommend him

i took this class online, lots of busy work during each week but it only takes a couple of hours. Tests requires the text book, and since its timed, take notes on what page each section is on so you can easily flip through. Don't stress about the play critique its easy. I got an A, and i missed 1 10pt assignment. For a GE, he's your best bet online

This was a pretty easy class. We had to see 2 mandatory plays of our choice, had to respond to discussions, write a play critique on one of the plays we saw (very wasy by the way) Overall, i would recommend this course. Nothing was hard, and the test were very easy!!! Make sure you have the book. I made an A

Paid over 200$ to do this guy's assignments. The syllabus said he would do acting workshops for extra credit but never actually did it over the term. 89.97% turned out to be a B because it was considered "unethical" to bump grades. Doesn't even help you at all. I don't know what happend, but suddenly this teacher turned into a jerk.

Took his online class....this guy demands a lot from his students but doesn't give much in return. My final grade was due 5 days ago and my report card still reads RD (report delayed). Not sure why this guy thinks he can take his sweet time grading our work but its a slap in the face to those of us who CAN complete or work on time. NOT WORTH IT
