Comment:

Online 1 month WebCT summer class so never met Lohman. Fairly easy but lots and lots of work. Tons of writing! 4 multiple choice tests, 4 essay exams, 4 discussion posts, 4 e-journal posts. 2 10pt extra credit. Book required and used heavily. Book package was $200. Grading was pretty lax. Use book index to ace multiple choice test.

Talk about entitlement! First day of class she specifically asks the students to call her Dr. Lohman, not professor, but Dr. Please show up to every class, because although her exams are hard, she does have a little goodness in her heart to give out random extra credit.

Comment:

Make sure you call her DOCTOR Lohman or she will not reply to your emails. She is a pretty fair teacher however the paper for this class is a little unclear. If you go to class you should be ok. She gives a lot of extra credit which helps! Don't expect to get your midterm paper back until the end of finals week.

I liked this class, but the tests sucked! I thought they were hard, you really need to study for this class. It's really interesting and she is a good teacher.

Dr. Lohman is very clear in her lectures and expectations for the class. She is super enthusiastic and you can tell she enjoys teaching. The class is pretty easy if you go to lecture and read the material.
