Hes a good teacher. He has good lectures. he gives lots of extra credit. I passed with an A and I did study material. its a good class to take. he doesn't give a "study guide" per say though..

The time flies by in his class! His lectures are very interesting and entertaining. You need the book in order to take the quizzes online. You have to show up to class to pass b/c the test material only comes from his lectures. If you pay attention you will pass his class. I highly recommend Mr. Heintz!!

Mr. Heintz is a fantastic professor. Because he relates his work back to his life and presents stories, he makes the lectures super enjoyable. And they're not hard. His material is easy because he makes it easy with fantastic lectures, clear information, and he's both thorough and informative. Best Psych teacher by far.

Class is not mandatory. but it is in your best interest to show up. If you miss, you will miss a lot of material. He does have a textbook, but I passed just fine by taking good notes, and not buying the text

Amazing teacher. Took abnormal psych because I thought it would be an interesting class, and this man made it my favorite class of the semester. He has many personal experience stories that help you relate to the material. Drops the lowest test grade, so the final isn't mandatory. If I ever have to take another psych class I will take him.

i took mr. heintz two semesters in a row. once for intro and then for abnormal. i just love him. he makes class enjoyable and he is very connected with the students. i finished with a 96 for intro (127) and im going into my final with an A in Abnormal (240). i would only say class is mandatory because the lectures/notes are KEY.

Best psychology teacher ever! I'd recommend him to any student. He has a great sense of humor and is easily understood. Tests are super easy. Just pay attention & take good notes

"What can I say about this professor"? He was heaven sent his lectures were crystal clear. If you pay attention in class, show up to class then you will pass. I took him for abnormal psychology and he made the lectures relateable and hilarious. We converse a lot about mental disorders such as Biploar and schizophrenia.

I injoyed Mr Heintz although I took him for the summer, he makes class interesting, shares a lot of information professionally and personality. Gives quizzes in class with films. Pay attention no book required.

He is my all time favorite professor I have ever had. He is hilarious, and turns his lectures into interesting stories. I wish all teachers were as fun as him! He is a MUST. If you ever have a chance to take his class, you better do it! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

Mr.Brett is an awesome teacher, you have to attend class in order to know the work. I am now so enlightened about mental disorders than ever before. I took this class during the summer, so it basically was just an introduction. Ironically, we discussed Robin Williams a lot in this class, and sadly, weeks later he passed. We have to stop the stigma.

Dude is hilarious. Makes a 75 minute class feel like 10 minutes. The tests were very easy. Most answers were down right obvious. Amazing teacher. Would love to take again.
