All that Professor Brian Maruffi wants is to be "LOVED." Maruffi aka "Maruff" and "Foopie." He is intelligent but tends to babble and ramble and babble off on incredible tangents. If you show up to class and humor him with a little bit of respect, interest , participation, and maybe a little bit of Love, you will get an easy "A"

appears to be nice while he teaches, but is very unapproachable once class ends, and doesnt seem to take much personal interest in the students. does a very poor job explaining material during class, often glossing over important subjects while saying "this is so easy, i dont want to dwell on it." meanwhile, no one in the class grasps the concept

doesn't take attendance and all notes are on blackboard. big curves on only two tests (midterm and final)and a group project which can be done in a week. even with the curves, you're basically going to get a B or C on everything, so you never have to worry about failing...oh...he also looks like a bigger version of the penguin from batman returns

Taking this class there is really no rhyme or reason wouldn't reccomend him but if you must 1) IGNORE what he says... read the text in minute detail and try to remember the gist 2) take advantage of redoing case studies...or hand in early, I don't think he even knows what he wants 3)do weekly homework...sucks but helps and is very easy

This class is very very important, and he unequivically knows what he is talking about. He has years of experience, and is totally clear when presenting material. The problem is that the workload was greater than the benefit, and understanding the assignment schedule required a separate course. Noone could figure what to turn in and at what time.

This class is an absolute waste. Professor is unorganized and unclear about requirements (13pg sylabus +several addendums). He is arrogant and obviosly 'smarter' than everyone else. He loves to say 'I bet you never thought about that' Of course we couldnt because we only go to Fordham. Stay away from this guy there must be better profs.

Listen to practically everyone on this site, DO NOT take him. He is boring and when you ask him for help he makes you feel as if your wasting his time. He's arrogant and mean. Avoid this mans class for your own good. O ya and his tests are really hard.

Professor Maruffi is a wealth of knowledge. He sends a lot of information. He is seemingly genuinley into what he taught me in this undergrad course at Fordham University. His slides are lengthy but very informative. Attend his classes (all). He will think you are taking advantage otherwise.

Maruffi is the biggest waste ever! If you have a sane bone in your body you'll avoid him. A part of me doesn't even think he's employed here because I have a naive respect for Fordham. I don't think they'd hire such a buffoon. But apparently everyone makes mistakes. I did in taking this class.

Unlike intro to management, this class was a lot of work! Cases/Homework was due every class. Lectures are WORTHLESS, but he likes when your in class. DO NOT bother looking at his review sheets, your better off studying everything. He does curve. I think hes Lazy, boring, and looks like a weebaloo.
