Comment:

Professor Chakradhar is a great professor. She can be hard on you but its to only push you to exceed your full potential, she means well by being "hard". She always lectures, take notes and you'll do fine on quizzes and test. Sometimes her wording doesn't make sense, you just have to ask her and she will clarify for you.

Comment:

Enjoys challenging her students, has a solid work ethic and grades everything on time. She is helpful, puts everything in writing so even if you have a hard time understanding her (why would you? She's been in the states for years), you can make it work. She's knowledgeable and truly cares about her students. I recommend her!

Expect to work in her class. If you pay attention, takes notes, and study then you will be fine. Do not expect to sit through the class, play on facebook on your laptop and expect to pass--it wont happen. Her exams are in class and are tough. An A is possible if you do the work. She readily provides clarification or feedback when asked.

She is a very nice lady. I think she is very clear of what she wants and the quizzes are very easy if you take notes. The only thing I did not like is she has a group project that she pairs you up with people from other sites for. It is a timeline of an area of social work. This is the only part I did not like. This project is 30% of your grade.

Excellent teacher! I learned so much from her! Found her to be VERY willing to answer questions and clarify anything I didn't understand. If I didn't understand her accent, I asked, and she clarified. Excellent about responding to email. Also very willing to review drafts of papers and allow you to revise before handing in for a grade.

Shes just like a strict parent! But seriously, be patient. She explains things very well if you listen. She is more than willing to help you out too. She travels to other sites, and is very communitive through e-mail. Put effort into her class and she will put effort into your learning experience. This is not an easy A, but its possible.

she is a very nice person..always sweet, but sometimes very hard to understand. She isn't very good at explaining what she wants on a assignment, but her test are not as hard as everybody is making them out to be....kate king teaches research also...take her!!

i dont recommend taking this class with chakrahdar as professor if u want to learn something about the field of social work.. she is difficult to understand because of her accent and shes not clear in what she says.. i dropped the course because of this
