Prof Lunine is one of the best professors I ever had at UCSC! He is always so caring and nice. Definitely helped me a lot in improving my writing skills. I would definitely take his class again.

Brij is definitely the most understanding professor I've had during my time at UCSC. Very nice, very funny. Some busy work at the beginning of the quarter but doesn't last the entire quarter. Mostly graded on a few big assignments that are not super difficult. Overall I'd definitely recommend him!

Amazing professor who legitimately cares about his students and is completely willing to work with you. His grading is clear, fair, and simple. As long as you put an effort in all your assignments, youre assured an A and a good learning experience

Brij is a very nice and caring person and wants to teach you the material without giving you a ton of work outside of class. Assigns podcasts and articles to read for HW and there normally isn't a lot of reading. He tries to provide pdfs. Came from C10 Core and Writ 2 was easy. Attendance mandatory. Final is a research paper and presentation.

Brij was an awesome professor. The coursework itself was quite boring but he made it very enjoyable. There was homework every class but it was pretty easy for the most part, usually a reading along with exercises and then one final paper.

Brij is the best!! This was one of my first classes at UCSC and it was great. He is super caring and helpful. Go to his office hours and he will talk to you about ANYTHING. He is always looking to help out and better the college experience for his students. So much love for this guy!!

Brij is great. He cares immensely for a student's progress and always checks up on them constantly. His class consisted of a lot of busy work, but nothing that was downright awful. He's accurate in guessing when someone stayed up the night before at like 2 AM writing an essay, so don't think you'll squeak by like that. Definitely take his class.

Kind. Intelligent. Helpful. Interesting. Caring. Are words I'd use to describe Lunine. Definitely one of the better and maybe best I've had at UCSC! His class may contain material that does not initially appeal to you, but Brij does a great job of making it better. Also the "I really want to blaze with him" review is super hilarious yet true!

Excellent Professor! his work is doable and he is very understanding when a students is struggling. The attendance, you can miss a class or two but just let him know before hand and do your best make up for what you miss. He also takes the time to get to know his students to a personal level in order to give them better advice.

Brij is one of the nicest professor's I've met at UCSC. He's always willing to go out of his way to help his students. He's actually a really cool person and kind of funny. Pretty easy to get an A as long as you do all of your assignments- I missed 3 and still got a B+ P.S. If you're from the bay, you'll defiantly like him. He uses our slang lol

Awesome professor! Very clear readings and very helpful and understanding of student necessities. If you're a transfer and need to take the STARS course, I'd highly suggest taking the class with him, and not the seminars during move in week.
