KNOWS HIS SUBJECT VERY WELL! Tries to come off as a hard-ass.. doesn't allow bathroom breaks or late entry. BUT, he is actually a super sweet man. Very understanding when you go to him respectfully. Test questions can be tricky, so don't expect questions to come straight off of exam study guides. Opportunity for extra credit and possible curve.

Older man. Lectures can be boring. 4 major tests out of semester, 24 ?s each. Final not comprehensive. Offers an extra credit assignment (verbal book discussion w him, he will provide list of accepted books). Week prior to test, he provides a study guide. FYI: words are flipped in test it can really confuse u. Recommend him. Just read!

Worst teacher ever, will get mad if you go to bathroom, Never had a teacher before(specifically in College) to ask you Do you have any problems? Just because you had to go to the restroom. Do NOT recommend him at all :( will have 3 tests 25 questions each, if you lose 3 questions, your grade will drop from an A to a B :(

Nice professor. Took summer class - tests were straight from textbook and pretty easy. His lectures just clarify the text information. He does not stress his own personal political opinions like other gov't prof. at SAC! I enjoyed that! Teaches objectively. Very knowledgable on Social Security issues and other public concerns. I highly recommend

He is very boring! Hard to stay awake in class, but his grading system is awesome. Attendance replaces your lowest test grade, and he gives extra credit options. He hands out a review the week before the test and there is only 25 questions on each test. Final is easy!

Mr. Tyler is the most intelligent teacher I have ever taken. Forget about the students who say he is boring, they just don't have an interest in Political Science or Govt. His reviews are very helpful and his attendance grade replaces your lowest test grade. He also gives you the chance to bring up your grade with an optional oral book report!

He's very boring, but nice. Hands out the review sheet the week before the test. The review is what's on the test. you don't really have to pay attention in class. There are usually 25 Qs on the tests so it made it a little hard to get A's on them. Attendence is a test grade and he drops the lowest
