Super hard grading scale 80% test 20% other. Graded super hard on the tests too. He just sits and talks at the students. I have taken almost every math the school offers (up to Calc 3, not taken Def E yet) this is the hardest by far. Poor choice of a book even pointed out mistakes in the book.

He wasnt very helpful when asking him about a math problem, and he wouldnt let me retake a quiz when I was having technical issues. Hes just not very caring, but overall I passed the class.

I didn't have a cash money time in this class. His teaching style isn't good unless you like old videos from the 60's, because this mans doesn't know how to write on the board. I do not recommend this dude unless you have a brain of god.

I took him online for MATH1530 (statistics) and it was fantastic. The textbook he chose in addition to Pearson, was the best choice for someone like me who is terrible at math. Its been 9 years since my last math class and I'm acing the course. You get unlimited tries on HW and if you dont understand, he posts lots of external help for you.

Very lecture heavy and textbook heavy. As long as you go to class, pay attention, and ask questions when you have them, you'll do fine. He's actually a pretty relaxed grader and gives tons of partial credit. If you don't know a problem, at least scribble something down on paper and get some credit.

He is a very kind man and is willing to set aside Fridays for "study groups" if you are available. His teaching is mediocre, and students correct his problems AT LEAST 3 times a day, so watch out for his work. His tests are medium-challenging and must do homework to understand them. The exam is extremely difficult, so better do good on those tests

Terrible teacher. Cannot get a full thought out. Will tell you incorrect information and even if you are correct, will tell you that he is correct. Does not understand electronics and makes you do the class on the computer without any clue as to how to do it. Makes you buy a book for $150 and doesn't let you use it.

He was horrible the first week. He confused everyone and sometimes just doesn't seem to know what he is talking about. He tells stories that have nothing to do with class. HE IS THE WORSE! DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS!

Professor Conrad is a very fair grader and certainly wants his students to understand the material. He had multiple study sessions outside of class. There is a lot of out of class work that he assigns, however, it really helps you understand each and every topic.

AWFUL!!! I had him as a professor for college algebra while I was still in high school. Whenever anyone asked him a question, he hardly ever answered the question being asked. When he would try to show someone how to work out a problem, he would get it wrong. I basically had to teach myself.

I have always been a good math student, so good it is my major. However, Conrad is a TERRIBLE teacher. He is hard to follow, and is corrected by his students AT LEAST once a day. Might as well take it online, because you will be teaching yourself. I will probably retake, because his 4 test are 90% of your grade and his grading makes no sense.

He teaches directly from the book and is very boring. Makes many mistakes on the board and has to be corrected by students. 4-5 tests (90% of grade) and homework (10% of grade). Very difficult if you are not naturally good at math.

Conrad's class is very difficult because it's calculus. He doesn't do a great job at explaining the material during class, but if go to his office and ask for help he'll explain it much better. You don't have to show up to his class if you know calculus by heart. Don't let him intimidate you during the first couple of weeks either. He is a nice man

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS IF YOU HAVE NEVER TAKEN CALCULUS OR TRIG! Overall, I've had a horrible experience in this course. I didn't not learn anything from him. I had too go home and learn the material by myself. Many of the problems on his tests are different from the homework he assigned. He is very sarcastic and expects you to already know e.

To be honest, he is a smart person at Math. Can he teach, no. It is kind of like Einstein teaching a little boy about his own theories. Only uses the book's examples, not his own. You would have to have additional help in order to pass his class. The text book wast horrible at explaining things.

This guy seriously needs to retire. Get ready to teach yourself or fail the class. He doesn't explain anything. He expects you to already know how. All homework and quizzes are in math-labs. The tests are proctored and count 70 percent of your grade. Do NOT take!

He is an excellent teacher for MATH MAJORS. I highly recommend taking a different teacher if you are not a math major. He teaches fundamentals of math, not formulas. If you are not a math major, pay attention and show up to study groups.

Conrad is not as bad as the reviews. Took a night class and he was always concerned with the students understanding the material before continuing to the next assignment. We used mathlabs for all the hw and quizzes so a lot of self learning and studying but Conrad did teach well in my opinion. Funny guy too. Would take again.

Not an excellent teacher. Doesn't do a very good job of explaining the material required. Homework and quizzes are all online, his due dates change at random. Things will be due when they haven't even been discussed in class. Nice man, but I don't recommend him.
