WHAT AN INSPIRING GUY!! Carl is the best! he genuinely cares about his student's success. Lectures are always interesting. 3 books are needed for the class but all of them are relatively cheap! it's not hard to get an A in this class if you do the work and study for the tests, he's always super clear on what you'll be tested on! i recommend 100%!!

I love Professor Schafer! He is one of the NICEST teachers and people out there! He is an inspiring and extremely caring professor and person! I would 100% take a class taught by him again and would most definitely recommend him to another student! He truly cares about helping students learn and is compassionate for his students! I can't say enough

This class is interesting and fun! He lectures the whole class but it's fun! Buy only 3 books that are cheap like $5 each. 3 tests and 1 Final, DON'T SWEAT IT!! HE GIVES YOU THE ANSWERS AND CHAPTERS DAY BEFORE TEST!! 1 Treatment center report (easy), If you are looking for easy A and little effort, look no further! YOU CAN'T FAIL THIS CLASS AT ALL!

Comment:

Very wonderful teacher! I learned alot about alcoholism and treament! Highly recommend this class for those who don't understand Alcoholism + it's process to Recovery. Dr. Schaffer is very nice! Only 3 tests and 1 final, he gives you the answers and chapters to review and pass, I seriously doubt he fails anyone, he truly cares about his students!

This teacher is the best, makes drug and alcohol class very interesting and very fun to attend..Only 3 -4 tests very easy gives u the questions and then awnsers them the day before.. so easy and fun.. And if you ever have any personal problem he totally understands

Very Knowledgeable & passionate about the subject. The key to doing well in this class is taking good notes and knowing that on his tests, he is looking for specific wording of things. Also, if you need help, ask him. He goes out of his way to make sure you do well. Follow these & you'll get an A in his class.
