This is an intro class of English/writing class and yet all we talk about is core self crap that doesn't help with our ability to write better and/or help with grammar and writing styles. Waste of my time and dread going to class since all she does is talk about useless stuff that no one cares about(every one agrees with this when she isn't around)

Comment:
No textbook, but still a lot of outside reading and assignments. She has a specific idea of what she wants and will often interrupt to tell you. Unprofessional, changed syllabus right before the final, and is highly unpredictable. Knowledgeable about women's literature, but understands little about contemporary issues.

Speak up in class. Discussion is the biggest part of your grade. Don't be offended by her interrupting. She is very strong in her opinion. She uses a variety of texts. Read VERY carefully for essays; they're hard if you don't.
