Prof. Barton is a decent professor. I admit, he does get off topic most of the time and I think that is because he thinks he's explaining it better. He tries to help his students as best as he can. When you need to make up a quiz, he's willing to give you one without asking for too much reasons of why you missed the quiz.

took this class last semester. hated it. he confuses people. he gets off topic WAY too easily. makes things more complicated than they are by doing 34038 unnecessary steps for every equation. if you take this class, be prepared to teach yourself the material on your own through the book.

The subject is not difficult, it's the professor. He is truly a good professor but he continues to fight (verbally) with students to follow his method. It's ok to have a way of doing things,lets not forget although you grade us, we pay you.
