Worst summer class ever. Daniel Allens course is completely set up by him. 10 difficult quizzes (lowest dropped, lecture vids suck/cover very small % of info; more reliant on book/Cengage), 5 discussions (10 paragraphs and 3 replies for full cr), 4 pg paper. DO NOT take with other classes. If you work part time, expect days with 0 sleep.

The absolute worst/hardest online class that I have ever taken. I will strongly advise anyone to steer to any direction except this one for PSY 341 at UNLV, RUN!

Worst psych professor I've ever taken. 10/10 do NOT recommend. Tried taking during summer but super unreasonable. He thinks this class is the only thing you're doing with your life. Discussion posts are ridiculously hard no matter how much you try. Quizzes are not passable no matter how hard you study. No notes online, only videos that don't help.

This was a very difficult class, you must read chapters in order to pass the quizzes. 3pg Group assignment, 4pg individual assignment too. Although this class was interesting and I learned a lot the processor was a difficult grader, even following directions to a tee, still isnt good enough. Good luck

This course was extremely difficult, but I learned a lot. I feel this professor is difficult although he will help you if needed and responds to questions very promptly. If you do take this course, be prepared to read A LOT and have one individual assignment and group assignment. His quizzes are extremely difficult as well as the discussion posts.

I DO NOT recommend this prof. Overall, he has unreasonable expectations. When I tried to reason with him, he resisted. Later, he changed one thing 4 us. I was a straight “A” student before this prof. & got a C+. If you get this prof., make sure you don't have a life, a job, or other classes 4 the semester.I'm not kidding.

I DO NOT recommend. The only way to get an A in this class is to write two papers that the teacher personally likes, which he will give ZERO feedback on with an arbitrary grading scale. Next, you must score 100% on all Quizzes and post weekly to the DB more than 30 times. I received an A- and I did all of those things. This Professor is the WORST.

I worked for credit in Dr. Kearny's school refusal lab. I would recommend this to anyone. The lab is really interesting and a lot of hands on. I also had him in PSY 495 and I found Dr. Kearny to be so nice and helpful whenever I came to him.

This is such a hard class, but really what do you expect when you take a 400 class with a very intelligent professor? The tests are exceptionally hard,and usually consist of 50 questions over 30 pages of notes and 4-5 chapters of material from the book. Also, there is no study guide or insight on what the test will consist of.

Dr. Kearney is extreamely knowledgable and an obvious scholar, but a teacher he is not! I found his class very difficult and it was the hardest B- I ever had to work for; this is from someone who graduated with honors in both psych and c/j in under 3 years!

He is so clear and his tests are completely predictable. He asks the same sort fo questions everytime. Also, if your paper is really bad when you turn it in, he'll give you an opportunity to redo it without a late penalty. He's a great professor who always has his door open to help any student.

This was the absolute worst professor I have ever had!! Tests are hard and not on material that you write pages of notes on. To anal and boring. He could use some guidance on teaching. Not helpful at all. Expects you to not have a life other than his class. Arrogant and pompas. UGHH beware!!

8-12 pages of notes per class, then the tests are on 2% of the notes and the tests ask for obscure facts that do not add to your learning; Like "when was Browns study on autism published?Who cares? NOT AT ALL A GOOD TEACHER!

It is a difficult class with a lot of materials. He explains everything very clearly and organizated. Although he is very hard on the grading and his tests are too specific.
